Those missed FTs weren’t luck. Just random bursts of talent.

Was it just me, or was that the sneakiest 17 points from Denver Jones ever? I looked at the box score after watching the game and was amazed that he scored 17 when it seemed like an off game for him.

Can be both. Crowd should be better, regardless.

We can't count on anyone winning the regular season for us. We need to do that on our own. I was pulling for LSU and UK today. First time for both I believe.

Arkansas upset Mizzou. Calipari had his team ready to upset somebody, but it wasn't going to be us. Onto the next.

Sorry for this long post but I am with Randy on this. The ticket prices are unsustainable though I understand the supply/demand problem vis-a-vis the team success et al… arky game cost me $190 just for tickets and parking was going to be $120 anywhere close by on the decks to which I said f that and found street parking on Glenn just a couple of blocks from the Goalpost.

It just seemed like many people sold their tickets to older couples who could afford it but they were just there for the experience and were walking in like they just walked into the Wizarding World in Universal for the first time oohing and aahing.

You could put me in the same category as there is no way I am willing to pony up for 4 tickets to take the family. I don’t know what’s the solution. Maybe instead of 9k and change, they should have made the arena 12k and change but I am sure that would have also filled up.

It one of the problems of success.

Auburn successfully mitigated that with the design of the arena, IMO.

I’ve seen it elsewhere.

At the end of the day I’m steeling myself for Broome being the runner up for NPOY though.

I mean let’s face it, Broome is a 22 year old senior who is at best a late first round/future role player type guy at the next level. He’s the better college player.

Flagg is your sure-fire number 1 pick come the NBA draft.

There’s a lot of money surrounding Flagg’s perceived success vs Johni’s, nevermind the fact he’s clubbing baby seals to death in a bad ACC. That and he’s at a true blue blood school.

By no means am I suggesting Flagg isn’t an amazing player. Plop him in this Auburn lineup he’d be a holy terror.

But Johni has done more.

Do we have to bitch about everything. Prices have been extremely high all season. I wouldn’t attempt to go to a game because I ain’t dropping 300 for a ticket. More power to those that can.

Another thing there are no perfect teams and no teams that play perfect games. We have been the most dominant team in basketball this season. We have to finish. We still have 4 more games until we can celebrate another championship to go with our Maui earlier this year. Then the team can focus on the SEC tournament whatever Bruce chooses to do I’m ok with.

In the tournament I would think anything other than an elite 8 would be disappointing. However nothing can change what this season has been so far. I want a national championship but never have that expectation or do or die mentality on it. I’m enjoying the ride. For an old head on here I would suggest instead of bitching about a poor pass or a missed rebound I would sit back and enjoy it some instead of looking for the doom of losing. Truly historic times we are in.

The assist from the amount of time he handles the ball compared to Flaggs time with the ball in his hands is truly amazing. Then add the in the dirty work under the basket Broome has to on both offense and defense.

For me and I’m definitely biased it shouldn’t be close should be a Broome run away.

Pro potential should never even be a consideration for a college award.
