Lashlee has the personality of a wet mop and would probably be near the bottom in the SEC in recruiting

Lashlee was one of Gus' stronger recruiters. He is currently out-recruiting more than one SEC team.

At least people would respect that.

So we’re ignoring the fact that vandy is on a historic run and beat bama and almost Texas? .

So lets discuss the reason for that. Did Vandy out-recruit Auburn for a few years and stack talent? Thats been the #1 excuse. We dont have the Jims and Joes.

Is Vandy now more talented than Auburn or is it something else?

…but I’d rather never have a Midwest coach again.

Amen to this. The SEC has become a different animal than other college conferences, and if a coach does not have some significant time working at least as a key assistant in the SEC it is a huge risk to hire them as a head coach.

At QB, yes by a mile. Upperclassmen are about equal. Underclassmen, Auburn by a mile.

If Rhett is considered for HC go ahead and shutdown the program permanently

Rhett would be dumb to consider the Auburn job. He’ll land at UF or Oklahoma and kick arse

Pavia did literally frick-all against us. He actually posted a lower QB Rating than Thorne did LMFAO.

9 for 22 for 143 yards. OMG so talent! Amazing talent!

The kid hit the shots when they were needed. Something PT has never done. Don’t give me the stats bs when most of PT’s completions were either amazing catches after shite throws or little passes that Vandy allowed short of the first down marker on 3rd down.

We don't know that.

We know Diego is better than a 9 and 13 Payton, without a doubt, however we could graduate 3 that might be better and the recruiting genus wouldn't know until they all become NFL standouts. Not likely but at this point they all have more promise than this offensive staff.

Layne Kiffin should be a very obvious choice at this point. If we get to the point of needing a new HC he should be the first choice and give him the keys.

Didn’t we try that once already? Hope we have a better plan b than the beave.

Maybe we go after Kirby?

From the ugly board:
70 yards in the first half. 0 TDs in 56 minutes. Drops for days. No creativity in the playcalling. Hardly any passes downfield. Multiple players regressed from last season. Just a mess.

You need to look at what you want to run on Offense and defense.

Do you want a UT type offense, SMU type, etc...or if you go D then what type then take a look at those coaches.

However, Coach Curt S was one I was looking at vice Freeze.

People say he is too old but he does win...
If that is the case then take a look at Coach Bob Chesney of JMU. He has shown to win also. Need to look at him for another year or two to see if he keeps it up. Instead of going with a coordinator, we have a build to do.

Freeze is working on it so it should be good in a year or so if he fixes the QB show or we will be looking.
