Freeze wanted Throne to run the ball there at the 9 min mark. It was apparent when Thorne came to,the sideline. That’s on Thorne, the INT is also on Thorne. He didn’t have to throw the ball just scramble and try a long FG. Other than the first trip to the RZ I thought the play calls were pretty good. Defense played well until,they got gassed a bit in the 4th.

Yeah, numbers wise if they stack the box that means there are fewer defenders for the pass.
But AU doesn’t have the personnel to pass consistently. Just run it down their throat with Hunter.

Was not Freeze’s fault. He coached a very good game. We left 9 points on the table and have a mistake prone QB that couldn’t help himself. The missed field goals hurt, especially the one to end the half.
