Because we have had a long stretch of coaches with hubris that think they can / have to out gimmick UGA and UA.

Two generational QBs gave credibility to a long term mess.

We've had no foundation. We've had coaches that thought it could be done with no NFL offensive linemen, one that didn't think you had to win any recruiting battles, and now one that thinks he can play golf multiple times a week and run an offense with 20 different options on each play when you are only allowed 20 hrs of practice a week.

Coach Drink would turn into a literal monkey if he coached for Auburn.

Look at how good Ron Roberts has the Florida defense playing.

He was responsible for the 3 man rush to allow Bama to win the Iron Bowl in '23. Something in the water in Auburn that makes coaches lose their mind.

Maybe some issues with two guys running right to each other, but the two underneath guys were wide open. Jackson has to dump that off.

You’re at 5 Mississippi on that one. Arnold is what he is. He was most sacked last year. It’s him.

Funny enough, Tot was the only coach in my lifetime who could consistently throw. (Dye didn't really try).

The only Tot QB that significantly out-performed Dye-era QBs Jeff Burger and Reggie Slack was 1997 Dameyune Craig. All other Tot QBs (Patrick Nix and non-1997 Dameyune Craigs) were stastically passing around the same ballpark as Burger and Slack.

That play perfectly sums up our issues on offense. Arnold is sitting there for 5-6 seconds and getting sacked, while open dump off routes are right in front of him. At the same time the play design is stupid, with the dump off route running to the exact same area as one our crossing routes.

Those two receivers are useless. Offense is so disappointing.

Come on Pete, everybody has hated our quarterbacks pretty much since Nick Marshall. The vast majority of our fans were dumb enough to run off a 1st round draft pick

I know. Sad thing is since Bo left, every one of our QBs has sucked. Thanks Harsin and Freeze.

I haven't seen his name mentioned in forever. As a young teenage Auburn fan, I idolized him.

Is the QB (once again) being told which receiver to throw to by the coaches and therefore ignores the obviously wide open ones?

It's not unheard of in CFB but it does appear that Arnold is going through his progressions (albeit too slowly).

Jackson Arnold overthrew 2 TDs to Cam Coleman. Even without that he has 88 yds and a TD. A highschool QB knows to make sure the ball gets there. Even if it's not in perfect stride JUST MAKE SURE HE CAN GET IT. That's a QB issue

Jackson was like 2-4 on deep balls. He did pretty well if you ask me

The first one is on Cam. He beat his defender and then jogged for 3 steps before going back to full speed.

Im way more concerned about his inability to see the field than his deep ball accuracy.

also looks like the WR on left could be open as well. acres of room out there as opposed to the right side where QB is concentrating his looks
