Stats don’t tell the story. He was bad today. Bailed out by some pretty great catches by receivers.

Then the claim “he can’t win “ is in cement.

Never etched anything on a bathroom wall but . . . .

I've never seen a top 50 QB as quickly given up on as Walker White. I just can't imagine how bad he must look in practice.

I haven't given up on him, but I think he is 2 years away at best.

Arkansas HS football isn't good and he still only completed a little north of 50%.

The tools and physical abilities are there, but it is just going to take a little time.

How do we get the high 4* QB's that always seem to need 2 years to play with others start true freshman and win.

No

At this point I see no future use for him at AU.

Amazing that Auburn out gained Vandy by 100 yet had 1 turnover & horrific 3rd down conversion rate that resulted in a 10pt loss.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees it. At other schools, QB1 goes down, QB2 comes in slinging.

At Auburn, QB1 goes down, QB2 comes in and hands off because “he’s not ready.”

When I hear about QB stats, I take that with a grain of salt, like a bag full. We had near 50 yards in penalties. Subtract those from offensive yards and get a better picture. Or discount the 5 to 8 yard passing yards on third and long. Ya got them, but they were ineffective, garbage yards.

Bench Thorne and build for the future. We need somebody out there that takes a quick moment to see the situation of the game. By that I mean, clock/score situation (Oklahoma) where run-only plays/option to milk time or down and distance(pick a game); where third and 8 means no check downs at 3 yards and a prayer. That, to me, is his very weak point.

Some times it takes a real game to find the real gamer. Practice is not enough to reveal the full story.

Some people get better in the clutch and others lose their head.

Whatever gives us the best angle on recruiting. If we show them the future sucks too it might give some recruits pause.

Except CHF doesn’t see it like that and won’t.

If we had some can't miss prospect waiting in the wings, sure throw him out there. We've got Walker White who I have heard absolutely nothing about since he's been on campus basically. Hank Brown showed his level of play against Arkansas. Hugh has turned the QB room into quite the pickle.

Don't disparage our special teams by leaving out their contribution to another loss. The 2 missed FG and giving up a 40 yard punt return helped, along with the dumb penalty for jumping over Vandy's line that essentially gave them a TD.
