Anyone know what is going down with bama baseball?

Large bets were made on their LSU game that raised concerns. It’s not a nefarious situation with the baseball team itself.
Alabama rallied to come back and win the game referenced I believe.

bama lost. that was the game their coach scratched the starter.

Yea they lost. Bama scratched their starter very close to game time. Someone puts very large bets in LSU shortly after that before lines were able to adjust, not that they would have much.
Nothing necessarily nefarious there but it raised questions. If it shows up that the bettor has some ties to the team and may have gotten inside info or something, I guess that could make it more of an issue

Yea, just a scenario that to the naked eye looks very suspicious so the Ohio commission put a hold on betting on them so they could investigate just to make sure everything is kosher.

Rumor is he was doing parlays and did a healthy scratch of the starting pitcher against LSU like two hours before the game. They got beat badly.
Books found out.
-ESPN article basically confirms the pitching scratch was the suspicious activity however LSU only won 8-6

Bama’s AD and the NCAA is the least of his problems. He is looking at years of prison time for this.
