but are we really getting our moneys worth?

I mean we could cut it in half, but then you're going to end up with someone like Orgeron.

I hope I’m wrong, but I fear that the next few years we’ll be going 8-5 and 7-6 again and everyone on here will be calling for his firing again but the buyout will be too much.

The buyout may be large, but transaction law 101, you don’t agree to a buy out that you can’t afford when you hold the purse strings. It may seem unconscionable to us normal folk, but AU can pay that buyout without blinking if need be.

I don't have a problem with Gus being involved. He's produced some of the best offenses Auburn's ever had

Right, but he needs to either fully involve himself in the offense and playcalling from the start, or let Lindsey do his thing. This whole song and dance Gus does where he promises to step back from the offense, then jumps right back in, and goes back and forth like that all season, that just creates confusion and kills chemistry and momentum. Probably also creates mistrust and tension with Lindsey, probably messes with his confidence and causes him to second guess himself too.

Gus being consistent with his level of involvement would go a long way IMO

I could be wrong, but I always thought these anonymous coach quotes were position coaches and strength coach types and not head coaches.

But yeah, Pruitt is a salty redneck bitch.

Who really cares. As long as the offense works, I could give a shite who is involved and who calls what. Just let the guy do the job. He has produced more for Auburn in the past 7 years than any coach in the past 30 years/

Problem is, Auburn fans have become little bitches and dont know how to handle the small amount of success we have had. They are spoiled.
