Ashford lost the game. I know he made so plays with his feet for TDs bit his inability to throw the ball killed us. Then in OT he could’ve run for 15 yds on 1st down instead threw back across his body in the dirt.

Time to put the freshman in. He can play the rest of the year and keep his redshirt. Zero reason to keep playing a kicker that can’t make FGs and can only KO to the 10 yard line.

No way did Ashford lose us the game man. He is limited throwing but we knew that going in. He made a bunch of huge plays and don’t think he had any turnovers. He was a + tonight overall

Totally get that. His form has always been loose and sloppy. That’s why he’s so inconsistent. Any kicker not named Carlson would have been benched by now.

I understand the premise. They wanted to run some time off the clock. The face mask call was the killer. They don’t get close without that call.

Exactly. We have to kick it like that because Carlson barely can get it past the ten now. You might recall they housed one on us tonight that made it to like the 5 with negative hang time

He takes the loss 100%. shite kick they almost ran back, shite squib kick, and miss the OT FG. We keep blaming coaches, time to blame blame shite players. For an entire roster of guys to give their all and have one asshat blow a game is absurd.
