Searched by a Narcotics Task Force tells me they may have been watching him for a little bit.
I don't think they just happened across his weed.

400k of weed can become quite a bit once he started selling in small amounts. Hope he factored in the cost of a lawyer while counting his profits. He's living most young kids dream and it still wasn't enough.

Oats pointed the finger at Holloway on Monday, telling reporters that his player had a drug problem. Oats is the real problem. Under his leadership, the Tuscaloosa cops feel the need to treat Alabama’s basketball team like it’s some kind of crime syndicate.

One pound of weed is suddenly two pounds of weed now.
Oats admits he tries to keep lot of the drug deals in house.
But this one he could not protect Aden from the law.

The interesting thing is 2.2 lbs is considered trafficking. He had 2.1.

Didn’t he get arrested while at Auburn?
The ESPN article says “he has no criminal record” according to his lawyer

These are actually felonies so let's see how it plays out
He'll probably get the same judge that allow the TRO that let the NBA player come back and play for the Gumps.

Goodman's article says 1 lb.

The affidavit from the task force says 2.1
Isn't it funny how the trafficking threshold is 2.2 and they only find 2.1....

Oats and bama zealots deserve each other. Neither have wisdom, integrity or sense of fair play. They do share a tenacity for winning at all costs including the lowest common denominator of rationalizing murder.

Apparently he had “orders” and “contacts” on his phone. So the warrants listed contacts and order amounts. No Tuscaloosa Judge donor to set him free.
