A few thoughts about the game.

Najee Harris is a man. He was taking some great hits and getting some good yards after contact.
Those receivers for Alabama were making Mac Jones look like a heisman contender. Dear lord let them all declare for the draft.
Mac Jones has some grit. He took some good hits and still kept his head about him.
Smoke Monday came up big quite a few times.
Bo Nix did what he needed to do. He needs to learn to step up into the pocket instead of scrambling out right, but otherwise he made some good throws.
Canella, Hastings, Stove all stood up when they needed to do their job. That Catch by Canella was a thing of beauty.
S. Williams is probably our best true receiver we've had since I've been a fan in 2008.
I expected us to be able to run it up the middle a bit more against Alabamas inexperienced D-Line with all the injuries. Just shows how little push our OLine was able to get.
This was probably the most exciting Iron Bowl since 2014, but we were on the winning end of it this time.

Those Alabama WRs are just unfair
There is no scheme you can use to contain all of them in the open field. At least we held up a little better in the red zone when the lack of downfield space helped neutralize them a bit.

This was the first game all season that Alabama had 0 sacks.

That’s pretty damn impressive. For all the shite the OL got this season, including from me, they did their job spectacularly.

They parted the Red Sea on some of our bigger runs too

I loved when Seth pushed that chump DB. You dont let someone flex you on your field.

I was mad as frick at first. It happened right infront of me and it looked like a closed fist. I thought he was going to get tossed.
It should have been offsetting though, the bama player instigated it running over and getting in his face

Hill laid flat out but missed. Still appreciated the effort.
Was that when he got injured?

So we were down Schwartz, Hill and who else at WR?

Gus said Stove was gimpy or something like that also coming out of the half.

Tip of the hat to Shed Jackson. His two point conversion catch won us the ball game.

He also recovered that fumble I believe

Is he injured?
I don't believe he played in the 2nd half.

Very good list and I will add one more
Whitlow is still our best running back. Said that all season. I hate he fumbled that ball last night and to be honest, he probably should have been ejected for the punch he threw but as far as a every down back, he has the best vision and patience.
Thought DJ was ineffective last night and most of the games he played, he did show what he is capable of. I think his ceiling is higher than Whitlows and will eventually be a better back but right now, Whitlow is the man.
He was pissed all night last night. Same with Seth. Im sure there was some shite talking that got them going out there

Shivers and the TD run where knocked off the Bama player’s helmet with his run. I had to do a double take.
