Only Auburn can go from a top 10 team to a 7-5 SEC basement deweller.

Oh yeah. Calvin Ashley is a huge bust. Byron Cowart level bust.

Definitely losing to thUGA and Bama. More than likely losing to aTm. Idk if we score enough to keep up with Ole miss. 6-6

lol you think we're beating UT?

We'll get it done vs Ole Miss I think but that's it for SEC schedule.

I agree he has been disappointing, but he’s not on Cowart’s level yet. Ashley was the #6 OT in his class and has at least played in his freshman year. Cowart was #1 overall and did nothing but fall down the depth chart from the moment he got here.

Yeah you are right. I just had high hopes for Ashley.

Oh... in lieu of starting another thread, why do we continue to give Kodi Burns a pass as WR coach?

I really believe we are about to enter a dark period of AU football. I’m talking Barfield bad. Our admin has painted us into a corner and there ain’t shite we can do but watch it unfold.

It will be worse than Barfield bad. There is no way I'd let my highly recruited son play for this clown shoes. We are on the verge of seeing nothing but Sun Belt level recruits.

Um what did the receivers do wrong outside of Slaytons brick hands? Which has always been a problem?

Thank you for saying this. I have been saying this for years that people who know football won't send their kids to play in this offense. Way too many people stick their heads in the sand when it comes to this. This staff can't develop talent.

I've been wondering this since he was given the position.

Inept offense hasn’t hurt recruiting skill positions. We have 2 TE commits despite throwing to the TE just twice in 3 years or whatever.

I hate to burst you guys’s recruiting melt bubble but there’s been little correlation with success on the field versuses recruiting success at Auburn. Go check some of our classes after the 2010 championship year

I actually see Nix going to Clemson. Who could blame him.

Sunshine pumpers, all 2 of them, are downvoting the obvious. The writing is on the wall, no way Auburn gets better with Gus at the helm. Gus has only coached one QB that ever amounted to anything, and Cam would've been better if he had another coach! Name one receiver that has played under Gus that has progressed. Cold, hard, facts.
