I’m surprised they did anything. Guess Moody the defending champions spoke up but recruiting has been going on since early Probst days at Hoover

There is the "if you move in you can play" recruiting then there is the "buy a townhouse complex and give people free rent" recruiting Thompson does. One is traceable and one is not.

Did he reclassify, is he 27 or 28 class?

Still '28 as of now, but a lot think he is a strong candidate for reclassing. I think we've been recruiting him like it is a possibility.

Tyzon has 50 tackles for a loss!!!
Then you watch his tape and you can see why, the guy is just quick as a cat off the line of scrimmage, wow.
Interesting talk on JLee this week. Edge seems to be the one we dont know about. Maybe this kid is going to reclass. Or maybe Toodle, who is already 6 foot 3 and 235 lbs moves full time to edge, that leaves an extra spot on the roster at linebacker. You have Palmer and hope to get Culpepper and call it a day, if Toodle moves maybe you go after a thrid and its McNeil out of Mobile.
And for those saying 15th recruiting class isnt very good, well as a team we didnt finish in the top 50 last year so Id say its miraculous we get these kids to look at us.

for the life of me I can't understand why people were being so negative about recruiting...... Alabama is 41st in recruiting right now btw. The landscape has changed so signing some top five class might be out of the cards considering the small numbers we're after..... but the quality is there no doubt. Some people even mentioned Harsin. Bryan's class was rated in the 50s before High freeze came in the last MONTH and saved it. Unfortunately Alex had a literal weekend last cycle so we got stuck with a lowly ranked class freeze left. This year though, he's clearly shown he's not playing games and 2028 looks to be a Freeze, Chizik like class if we have ANY on field success. Mix that with a good portal class again and we'll be in good shape.

Where is alabama rated 41st?

247 sports. It fluctuates daily though. I mention this because they don't have the same negative twist on their program (largely due to past success I know) but it's highly frustrating. We sign a 3* and get Harsin comparisons even after getting a commit from the most (physically) impressive RB and top 50 player in years...... but Alabama is stinking it up without a Yeller feller to bail them out, but WE'RE in trouble?
I'm just tired of the narrative

3* OT Rance Brown announcing tomorrow between us and Kentucky. Sounds like he’s all Auburn.

Would be a nice pickup. especially for a team that went like 3 cycles in the malzhan era not signing high school OL.
