I’m from Prattville and know about this kid. Hall needs a TON of work at WR but his talent is undeniable. He is a better basketball player at this point in his career and wondering if he will play both sports, but if he devotes his time and effort in football and concentrates at learning his craft, the sky is the limit. He can be a contested catch demon, with his athleticism and ball skills. He isn’t going to blow you away with his speed but a serious red zone threat and a guy you can just throw it up to and him go and get it
Yea, his contested catch skills are pretty phenomenal. As mentioned, just isn't a burner but very physical. Could be a guy that i'd be curious to watch if he eventually may develop into more of a Kyle Pitts type of guy. Would obviously have to put on a lot of builk as he is very lean, but he does have a frame for it. KJ Duff seems like a decent comparison as far as a current player I see some likeness too.

We have a good bit of solid players in this class which is needed.
But will say even tho our ranking is fairly high the quality is yet to be determined. There are a lot in our class that does have to be developed. But I’m so happy with the amount of bodies are taking on the lines of scrimmage. That is a must and to work in this system you need experience. So bringing guys in that will wait a couple years to be developed is a very good thing. And we aren’t breaking the bank for 6-7 players while the others are just afterthoughts

the basic idea is if you are successful in developing the “project” guys into loyal performers who are invested in the program enough not to transfer out, and plug in the right portal players, it will translate to a reload rather than rebuild situation every year
at least it appears that the first part is working, we’ll see if he can put the rest of the strategery in place

Still it’s hard to look at the roster and the money spent the past few years and think we are still a few years away from having sec championship type talent. However next year if we have the right couple guys return that could go pro watch out. Big question will be do we go after a sure fire QB from the portal and risk losing some of the young guys.
Also I’m an optimist by nature and always know if the ball bounces our way this year could be good. But I fear not enough true talent on the OL and WR to beat the better teams

I think so

Yes. Take a can't miss QB and he wins the Heisman, gets drafted high, others will line up to come do it in that system. Watch Indiana

The more I see of Chatman our QB commit I think AG saw that arm and said we can work w this. He can spin it.

I think that is part of the reason Chapman is a good get for this class. He is a smart kid and only has one year starting experience, he will need to redshirt most likely anywhere he goes and it will do him wonders. He has a good future but we will need to take a portal QB regardless next year. So with that in mind he really fits this class well and his upside for that arm talent is nice if he develops well.

Once you get that line in order, we have to find a couple of special receivers and a QB that can spin it. Maybe 2 yrs away? Just stinks cause our D is legit

Help with a recap:
We are at 19. Sounds like Deshawn Hall is in and he will make official on the 23rd. Pace announces Friday and its sounds like he is in. Thats 21. Now outstanding:
Karlos May....definitely sounds like a money game, he has the offer see what happens.
Marquis Evans, I thought he was solid to us as a strong side end, but not sure if we are the hold up or he is.
Tae Walden is taking every visit before deciding now. He even has an official lined up for FSU in October.
Nico Kampas finishes his offical at Tenn this weekend and is done. Said he will decide soon after between us, Tenn, Vandy, Michigan.
Cedrick Simmons, he officials this weekend, we better shat or get off the pot or that kid is going to bama.
Preston Williams the athlete officials this weekend, sounds like we will offer him and he will take. Interesting Pink said you know who really likes this kid Charles Kelly, and Kelly can certainly scout talent.
And still a handful of safeties but not sure how that plays out if Preston is considered a safety.
Any others out there? We obviously wont take all the aforementioned its just the ones I think are in play.

I think that works out really well for everyone else involved in his recruitment. I don’t know if that was his choice or the FSU staff but seems like he has concerns about the expiration of the current staff. The HC might not even be there anymore by October. Also, if that happens, you would expect a late flurry of FSU commitments that could be wavering and player or two a possibility.
