It's so crazy that these dudes have the world, but still find a way to be create problems and ruin their opportunities. He set himself back 2 years and probably doesn't know it. Even if you HATED Kodi do what you're supposed to and put yourself on film. Let's say he was gonna catch 27 passes for 375-400 this year, that would have given him negotiation power walking into a room. That's why Simmons and even Perry got solid deals for themselves on the market. They had film. Duke was talented but he played in what one game? Now you have to create footage at another program and pay your own way if you wanna play this fall.

Wow, Im sure he will probably sue the NCAA, but according to current rules he cant join another team til the next portal.........in January, even if he was dismissed.

If we miss on the first two, make Kamba the nose for this class and go get that kid from MS Sam Lejuene. KId is a beast for strong side. Loves FSU but concerned Norvell wont make it, he wont, go in and swoop this kid. 6 foot 3 and 280.
Track in HS shot put, and, get this, 100. Thats right clocked a 10.99 in the 100.
He took an official to Auburn, it is FSU one, Cali two, and he did not even mention us lately. Kid is gonna be a good one for someone.

Reminds me of a documentary of Jimmy Johnson out on his boat with another coach and they were discussing....of course coaching.
He said you can coach a lot of things: scheme, positioning, schematics, process......but ya just cant coach STUPID.

Anyone other than them, would seem to be a surprise at this point. I’ve looked through the list and looked for prospects like the OT Camara, for example, who has visited some early this year and still uncommitted. We don’t seem to be in it but maybe we offer a bag? I don’t know. Could we have a surprise or two?

I think its now just the agents nitpicking about the offers to see if they can squeeze some more juice. The offers are what they are, if they choose someplace else so be it.
I saw Red Auerbach, the head of the Boston Celtics give a speech about signing Larry Bird. Get down to the signing and the agent at the last minute wants us to pay for six trips for Larry's mom to come to his games.
"So I takes my cigar out of my mouth look at Larry and say, the Boston Celtics are a very proud organization, with men young kids and the community can look up to. Are yous telling me we are signing you to the largest rookie contract ever in the history of the NBA.......and you wont even spend the money for yours own motha to come watch you play?

I love a good story as much as the next guy, but the reality is these kids and agents will just say "OK, we'll go somewhere else". Where else was Larry Bird going to go lol
