Rumor is recruits like CD Morgan are telling people that the administration wont let the coaches give the players a number in what they will give yet.

I am guessing the recent decommitments that reaffirmed commitments beforehand havent been living under a rock.

Yup, the portal is going to be crazy busy right after signing day.

This from other staffs plus reporters writing stories (can’t remember who it was) that Hugh has played golf all summer instead of recruiting can definitely have adverse effects.

We got a S transfer today. Didn't think it needed a whole thread.

Maybe. Improvement in Year 2 like any decent coach would have helped a bit. Oh well.

Another thought. We know college football is cutthroat and there are snakes everywhere. Why go public with the cancer story? I don’t care if a reporter was threatening to go public with it, just deny it. Me, I’d be out there near death before I admitted anything was wrong.

The cancer thing is probably something Auburn fans have come up with to justify this disaster

Still not worried at all. When we start loading up on a class full of 3 stars when I will, but we are leaving the spots open for a reason. We won't get everyone, but I'm betting the night before signing day is going to be a wild one.

Breaking News

Four-star WR commit see's roster full of 4 and 5 star receivers at Auburn. . .

. . . changes mind and dives head-first into the pool of 3stars at Kentucky.

That was one of the two expected flips. Hezekiah Harris is the other and that will be painful. Highest rated left and the first commit of the class.

If we are losing recruits to Kentucky, well it’s a brand new day in CFB and we ain’t elite. Sad.

This is what I heard today as well. We’re not giving a number to recruits and we’re waiting for all the details to shake out so we can give an accurate number come signing day or directly after it. While I can respect the fact that we’re not lying to any recruit about a number I hope this doesn’t put us way behind eight ball when it comes time to actually drop the bag.

I hate to tell you but we are well past being way behind the 8 ball.

Also, I agree with blzr. Cancer excuse seems like a boogeyman.

Wins and Losses

We advertised AU on a uphill climb and the grade's still horizontal, flat, nil.... so everyone needs a backup plan.

nil /nil/
noun

Nothing; zero. A special value for a variable used in certain computer languages to mean no assigned value, to be distinguished from the value zero. A quantity of no importance.
"reduced to nil all the work we had done"

determiner

No, not any.

It definitely feels that we are from here as well. Time will tell.
