As a side note regarding fan support and overall enthusiasm, their home games are in the Coliseum, in the middle of the second largest metro area in the US, and they draw an average of 66K fans for home games. Quite the game experience to play in that mammoth facility with that crowd, akin to a wnba game sans Caitlin Clark.

Isn't that exactly what you're doing when talking about Riley's past success with qb's?

Yes. Accurate. it is.

But by using that logic, I can say that Freeze recently lost to NMS and gave up the worst Iron Bowl loss in our history. All in his first year. Which are not unusual for him and his past

So Id rather just hope that he is going to be better at coaching and we will see if this young QB comes based on how much he loves the atmosphere at Auburn and the possibility of some great receivers. Im not going to cast any of the in stone until they perform on the field.

Lincoln is known as a great QB coach and has multiple history to prove it. I not sure Freeze has that same reputation with receivers. Yes he had some great ones for a period at Ole Miss but Im not sure its something he carries with him with most people

I honestly dont know what I would do or try to convince my kid to do if he were in the JuJu situation. It would be a tough call

I thought we were recruiting Juju not Lanierspots?

No offense but I don’t think you’d start over Thorne…

Yea, it's a crap area. No doubt. Id hate to live there. My right winged arse would not survive.

And he also has a great history of going 8-4 with great QBs and crappy defenses - which Jujus camp have explicitly said were important factors.

I think Riley vs Freeze is pretty much a wash for Juju. Comes down to roster, NIL and playing time in my book.

I'm hoping Lewis' camp has some attachment to Carrolton, because if they do then Auburn is the obvious choice. If they don't, then I'm sure they will move wherever JuJu goes and "house sit".

Lost two 5*DL in as many days. Right after Juju's dad talked about how important it is for them to be on a team with a good defense.. I don't think that's a coincidence. I think he knew the decommits we're coming.

Not about Carrolton specifically, but Juju himself said he's a small town guy. He doesn't really like big cities.

Amazing that USC has three top 20 5* recruits all from Georgia

ETA: Two 5*s

ETA: One 5*

I would love for us to be the one to steal their last 5*

Why not take 2?

Manchester is a hop skip and jump from Auburn.

If we land Justus Terry I might go streaking…

I don’t think we land Terry. I’m not sure if he has even visited

Kirby is not going to sit on his arse letting two instate top 10 DL go somewhere else. If I have to guess, they went to USC just to up their bag.

I wouldnt be surprised USC offered them a few bucks to verbally commit for a few months to get some momentum, odd they both committed and decommitted around the same time. Heck Gibson wouldnt even commit to a official visit while he was committed.

Looking at Kirby's commits and potentials, he has a full, full load and the playing path with those on campus isnt exactly a highway. Our DT path to playing time looks awfully enticing to someone like Terry.

A side note, at the rivals camp in Charlotte, of the LBs Bryce Deas outperformed some really good ones, and outperformed everyone is pass defending.

Kirby has a built a DL pipeline to the NFL and these top ten players will take their chances in beating out the competition there. I just hope we are super competitive this season and even if we don’t win, everyone from the coaches down to the ball boys play with their hair on fire from the first snap to the last. We have to go from players emotionally wanting to come here to play for AU to it being a business decision to come here.
