You lost us here......

quote:

This entire scenario relies on Ewers being deemed not good enough to go high in the NFL Draft, and then Texas deciding that they would rather tell their Senior starting QB to leave so that they can give his job to a significantly less experienced player on their own roster?

If he is not deemed good enough......wouldnt he be replaced with the most sought after recruit in years for the school, who has already thrown 90 passes in games and has an equiv qbr rating??????

You conveniently left out the fact that his stats reflect that Manning is getting over 25% of the snaps, that might make a wee bit of difference in the yard totals, just a bit.

And here you go again.....

quote:

why wouldn't he just stay at Texas and hold his starting job?

You just said he isnt that good three times, so why wouldnt they replace him?

Typical meta

Gets on a roll and eventually talks himself in circles.

Freeze also said he thought he had great relationships with all the recruits but apparently not because some lied to him

that’s not the exact quote but close

Money talks louder than anything. With the money out there 18 year old kids are going to go to less than ideal situations to coaches they don't have relationships with

Solid A. For players. For filling needs all is good except OL.

I think Autry moves to offensive tackle eventually.

On3 guys discussed this on their livestream. One of them agrees but they brought up an interesting point of in the transfer portal era, I wonder if guys will just transfer after coaches bring this up?

I think we had the discussion with Autry before he signed.

Just saw a tweet where Offord said Knight was going to help him make his own shoe. Oregon literally being offer shoe deals is insane.

Was just about to say that. Not much you can do when Phil Knike is is throwing around shoe deals. What a weird sport this is lol.

Corch’s 2025 signee rating.

This is not what I think they will do being drafted. This is a list how they impact Auburn while they are here if we get 3-4 years from each player.

1. Anquon Fegans
2. Jourdin Crawford
3. Derick Smith
4. Eric Winters
5. Deuce Knight
6. Broderick Shull
7. Kail Ellis
8. Jakaleb Faulk
9. Bryce Deas
10. Malik Autry
11. Donovan Starr
12. Jared Smith
13. Antonio Coleman
14. Sam Turner
15. Blake Woodby
16. Jacobe Ward
17. John Alan McGuire
18. Tai Buster
19. Darrion Smith
20. Elijah Melendez
21. Alvin Henderson
22. Hollis Davidson
23. Ryan Ghea
24. Devin Williams
25. Erick Smith

Without some kind of money regulations and/salary cap this model will never work. Plus before long these big boosters will be suing players that try to transfer after taking their money and players will need lawyers and agents and so on.

It will only take so long of the few over the top money schools buying all the players and coaches for the medium schools to cause changes. Only the top 10 - 15 schools can't fund the whole sport and the they will need the other 16-40+ schools and have to have rules to keep them happy.

I'm happy with our class and top is great in this age of football. With a portal QB and OL needs filled we will have a good foundation for next year if Freeze can coach together a good team. We competed with and beat alot of teams minus UGA on paper this year as bad as it was. That was with 1 1/2 classes. 1 top 10 class.

This is where Under Armor could’ve kept Auburn, if they’d stepped up to the plate to take care of their premiere program.

You rated him above most of the class.

When I see waffling it's because they cant get on the field.

Also, bama didn't want him at WR.
