his visit was dependent on Deuce coming, still don't think it's over with CC though.

I think w/o a qb, and a highly rated one, top receivers are not interested. I can’t believe we are in this situation. And many of the elite ‘26 qbs are committed. We need to get going

It is starting to get very concerning. Maybe coach is hoping to get one from the portal. That has been working our so far

I keep seeing this but Walker White was the #41 overall player and #5 QB last year according to 247 which is higher than what Juju currently is. Why does it seem like he's being completely overlooked?

Baffling to me. Also seems weird that a WR would care more about a QB in his class vs the QB in the class or two before him, as that is more likely who he will be playing with.

I’ve brought this up a couple times and it gets ignored. I understand AU probably needs a QB every year, but it’s not like we have a QB room of Clint Mosley and John Franklin III.

Also, people will say in one post recruiting is all about money and players are going to who pays the most. In another post you ready without a top QB, WRs are going to be interested.

That’s exactly why Freeze should be showcasing Bocephus Brown and Walker White this season instead of wasting time with PT…

If we don’t get a high school QB (we will, I believe), then there will be a blank check for a portal QB. NIL $ on missed recruits are not sunk costs, and means we can over pay on the next one available whoever that is.

Not sure what he's doing.... but missing on a kid or two might not be wasteful.

Because he didn’t come in and win the starting spot, most likely for some but I agree with you.

Because Throne beat hi out as starter. We need a star. Someone people dont want to play against. I dont care how old he is, if he was that guy, he would not be holding a clip board to Peyton Throne who is just arse

Lots of big programs have started true freshmen at QB and done well. Honestly, I wish he was starting regardless. If we are going to sacrifice another season to be a 6-7 win team, let that dude play and learn.

Easier to do this when the freshmen is surrounded by a shite load of talent who will be playing on Sundays in a year or two. Auburn hasn’t had that.

Didn't Bo Nix go 9-4 and ended up SEC freshman of the year.

(And finished better than expected)

Didn't Cam transfer in, go 14-0 and win the Nationsl Championship?

Didn't Nick Marshall transfer in and damn near do the same?

And Brown and Geriner. There've been beat reports that he's very much a work in progress and as you point out, QB is one position you're going to have to be effective at to compete in this league now... both on the field and with recruiting. We sold recruits with White. We'll have to make a new sales pitch to top talent with what we have when the season's over, too.
