KJ Lacey and Deuce Knight are the other two that have been mentioned

I agree with Corch on this one. Juju said a few weeks ago he would make his final decision right before the season. So end of this month or first week of August. Unless the staff straight up told these guys they aren't going after Juju anymore, I don't see why we wouldn't be willing to wait a couple more weeks if we waited this long. A lot of it sounds like speculation to me.. We might have tried to make a push, but doesn't mean its our last one.

KJ feels like the safer pick between the two. I think he is what he is, which is a solid QB but will probably not end up being a game changer. Deuce has potential to be a game changer but will take a little time. Based off Elite 11, for what that setting is worth, it sounds like he’s improving in the right areas though.

KJ will be interesting to watch this year with RW.

So how many of these guys who turned their recruitment into a damn circus actually turned out to be all that on the field?

Maybe we should be paying attention to how this is going and learn something.

OK

Seems like we had a QB's daddy go dollars-n-cents over the top before and it worked out pretty good.

Juju and his dad do very few interviews. So the circus is sorta created by media and the growing legion of anonymous insiders.

I suppose you can blame them for the lack of information being released publicly from him or his family. This is what happens in an information vacuum. People always fill the void

I doubt anyone has a number, but some work out and some don't. Same as everything else. Quinn Ewers might end up being the best QB in the SEC next year and he's not too different from Juju. Reclassified and committed to Oh St, signed a big NIL deal, then transferred out and went to Texas.

You mean he was a teenager and then grew up?

Some teenagers can be more of a headcase than other teenagers. Fight me.

Quinn Ewers was the #1 QB and #1 overall player coming out of high school.

They have a very good class. I get that On3 just inflated the hell out of it but its a very good class. They have a national footprint thanks to Saban.

Deboer can still frick everything up in short order.

Yes, they do have a national footprint, however, Saban and Kirby got to pick who they wanted in the South. I don't think DeBoer is doing that.
