His dad will always want more. Even if JuJu signs with us, he will be looking to transfer out to the highest bidder every single year he is here.

At this point, i dont gaf if he doesnt choose Auburn. Im ready to rock with Brown or WW or a portal guy next year

Wasnt there a post on here about Kirby warning Freeze about the family issues in recruiting JuJu?

I agree, this kid's dad will be coaching him or selling him the entire time. Better roll with Walker or Hank in 25 and go get KJ.

Save the money and top off the others we are trying to bring home. The amount of money we can spend on other players is akin to the Dallas Cowboys trading away Hershel and everyone thinking it foolish at the time.

Why would Kirby Smart "warn" Hugh (who's the current head coach for Auburn) about anything?

Right?! A rival coach giving another coach in the same league advice is asinine. Don’t believe everything you read.

You guys are comical, you dont think head coaches talk to one another? They go to meetings together, play golf in tournaments together, you think they dont discuss business.....and recruiting is a business.

You can say that again, and again with some extra.

Let's not forget Kirby was the one spreading rumors of Gus getting fired Every... Freakin..... Year..... Class after class of our recruiting was sabotaged by UGA, Bama, and LSU staffs. Now miraculously Freeze is gonna just expect good Intel from that Jackhole? LOLOLOL

These coaches are absolutely friends. Hell Saban and Freeze vacationed together. Freeze even mentioned he knew Saban was retiring well before he announced it.

Georgia probably had concerns about getting Juju to actually flip and bowed out. I'm sure that was communicated to Freeze. We'll see in time whether that was the right move by Georgia.

They Golf together, they go to charity benefits and talk like employees but Only Gus and Freeze operate at a friendship level where you would trust without the threat of some dark motive. Not saying they haven't invited each others families out for lunch or gone to a lake house retreat. Those are like business trips in MY opinion.

Freeze would do his due diligence on all players being recruited. Kirby's input on a player would be in one ear and out the other. Who's to say UGA has enough money tied up in QBs and Kirby wants no part of seeing JuJu in the SEC? Is that outside the realm of possibility?

Kirby and Hugh are pretty close (Hugh has said this publicly). However, I would be surprised if they sit around talking about specific recruits. They are still rivals on the field, after all.

Kirby stole KJ Bolden from Hugh last year, so even if they are.personal friends, crootin is still pretty cut throat.

Exactly. It's the same way two CEOs can compete with each other over a deal and then grab a round of golf at the same country club the next weekend.

Just because they're playing golf together doesn't mean they're going to slip actual good info to each other, and both know to take anything the other says with a grain of salt.

Why would Freeze need Kirby to "warn" him about the kid's father? Is Freeze not doing the same thing that Kirby is doing (ie: background checks on recruits)? Why would he need another coach's input? This isn't Freeze's first time recruiting in the SEC or this region. This is a 5-star QB who is going to cost a lot of money regardless - are you implying that Freeze isn't researching said 5-star QB's family background and needs a rival coach to do it for him? He was planning on committing hundreds of thousands to a million+ to a QB without a background check?

Yes, coaches talk. But think a little harder about what you are suggesting here. It is comically improbable that Freeze knew nothing about the most important player he was recruiting (a 5-star QB) and needed Kirby to help him out and "warn him"
