Here is Corch's thread from a week or so ago. He had a pretty good stab at it and some good discussions on a few position battles.

Champ Anthony giving an update after coming back from the terrible injury last season:

ETA: Dude has a weird looking chest.

Y’all are gonna mess around and get me excited about this season. There is a lot to like about this team. They look the part for sure.

He does but there could be some factors. Everyone differs in where the muscles attach to the sternum. Lack of closed grip/narrow bench press. Could be a medical condition called pectus excavatum.

I do see some interior rotation in the shoulders so exercises to help roll the shoulders back could help with form to develop the middle lower of his chest if not just genetically different or a true medical condition

Yeah my dad has that. Big ol' indention that can hold several tablespoons of water between his pecs.

Champ's just caught my eye and where his pecs connect to his sternum is just all over the place.

I did love Hugh’s response to the question about the young DL guys. Essentially it was get ready. Be prepared to play 15 snaps a game with your hair on fire and know what your assignment is. Not to overwhelming and sets them mentally up to be ready to play extremely hard a couple possessions a game. Staying fresh and healthy deep into the season is massively important this season

Similar to Blocton’s quotes from yesterday. Great mindset for DL.

SIAP. Haven't seen it here yet.

Cam Coleman, Demarcus Riddick and Alex McPherson interviews after practice. Here are some highlights of what they had to say:

Cam says he is bigger, stronger and faster this season. Obviously that means he will win the Biletnekoff and Heisman. Riddick says he realized dudes are very strong while playing last year so he has gotten stronger in the off-season. So, SEC DPOY is incoming for him. And Alex says he feels comfortable and feels like he can trust his body again. Seriously happy for him and glad he was able to come out relatively healthy now.

From what I’ve seen, Arnold has some zing running the ball, but I don’t think you can compare him to Nix and his scrambling and his escapability.

My brother-in-law watch one of Nix's Auburn games and when Bo did a scramble-escape, he said, "how the hell did he do that!."

Glad to see McPherson finally healthy. Towns has a cannon of a leg and hopefully he can get his confidence back this year.

Can is bigger he’s up to 200 lbs and doesn’t look like a high school player anymore. Should help on the 50/50 balls and in blocking.

I do have a question about one of the new guys that has been bugging me. What's up with Alvin Henderson? I have heard absolutely nothing about him from spring, the summer, nor anything from camp so far. Just seems odd that a kid who broke such a longstanding record that was previously held by an AL HS legend and not hearing anything about him at all. The transfer and the kid that reclassified, Mabson, have gotten more publicity than he has.

Literally the only thing I have heard about him was that he had gigantic legs feom my buddy that works on the turf crew. He saw him one day and said that he was taken aback at how big his legs were. Other than that, anyone else heard anything? Positive or negative?

Freshmen running back in the SEC are a tough thing. The pass protection mental side is very tough to pick up. Alvin is also in the process of getting used to weighing 200 lbs. he wasn’t expecting to play as a freshman. Even though Omar Mabson is a year younger and should be in high school his body is more ready than Alvin’s. They seem like a great duo in couple years to compliment each others game. They will probably both get a few carries in some of the early games in the blowouts and go from there how they advance. I would expect neither to play in more then 4 games barring injuries and be able to maintain a redshirt.
