Some practice notes from Dukes Scoops.

Game practice now so the ones are going against the scout teams. Said he heard not once but from various people young Jakaleb Faulk was giving them fits, Im assuming from edge. Course they always talk up the young ones but interesting.

Starting line ups from what he hears, probably Horatio will start with Coleman and Singleton. Not a big deal, Im sure Simmons and Thompson will get plenty of snaps as well.

Sounds like Robinson has that other safety spot. Sylvester Smith at nickel. Not sure about this is kind of left out Champ Anthony.

Said Melendez will be number two behind Woodyard and said Atkins and Riddick will both play the other spot, Atkins has just been that good.

For what its worth, a slow Monday.

By the way, did say Arnold is very accurate once again.

I think Champ is healthy enough to play but not fully healthy.

I've read a few times to that Sylvester has really been playing well too, nickel seems to be a much more natural position for him. So, being able to have a rotation of him and Anthony there should be great, keeping them fresh.

Probably health, but the trust isn't quite back yet?

Dave Aranda presser is on the radio. He sounds like an NPR broadcaster.

Your annual “Or” depth chart has arrived

Interesting that Jared Smith isn’t anywhere on there. I thought he was getting some good praise. Darrion Smith I don't know if I'd seen his name all camp.

Yep. Also nice not having our starting RB at KR for the first time in seemingly forever

Most isn't too surprising. Looks like that answers our Champ Anthony question as well. Also, these are fairly meaningless but worth the gander.

JJ Faulk jumping Waller and Phillips. Didn’t have that on my bingo card going into fall camp.

I hope we hand out redshirts like candy. A lot of good freshman, but they are behind sophs and Jr.. Like Fegans and Knight are two big ones to me. Unless they are starting then the redshirt should stay on. I feel like we didn't use it enough last year, some not by choice I think.

Let the season play out. If they are good enough to play special teams then play them. Most of these guys that have starter potential are looking to be 3 and done anyway.
