Auburn would 100 percent get called for PI on that

Deuce and Daniels need to get some of those throws up more. Let guys jump for it.

ETA: But it is really refreshing watching DB's scrap like that.

Both saying this is the best week that Arnold has had in practice.

Both echoed that Jay Crawford has been the best corner through camp and been really really impressive. Basically if he gets beat it’s because of an other worldly play by the WR.

Defense looked great in the red zone drills.
Only allowed one first down in that situation and it was a great play by Singleton on 3&5.

I was worried about LB play, but Xavier Atkins is really stepping up it seems.

Really sounds like the young LB's have been stepping up, Atkins and others.

Our DBs and WRs are really, really good this year. I'm sure the drills where they're competing have been intense as all hell.

I don’t know whether to be happy or sad about this.

This is the most coverage of information from fall camp that I can ever remember. I would have thought this week there would have been a lot less access but nope the information keeps coming out.

I agree. I'm not sure if they're confident in what they've been able to keep hidden or if they're trying to instil interest in a frustrated fanbase.

Defense should know our playbook well and Arnold still not running gives them pretty big advantages. I’d be more worried if the O was gassing the defense.

No offense Smuph, this is baloney If offense torched the defense, we’d say the opposite:

Offense should know the defense well, especially any weak links. I’d be more worried if D stuffed the offense

I’m not sure any of these fall practice reports against our own units mean anything, but if they do, we definitely don’t know enough to say

DBs to me in all the red zone stuff I’ve seen have been kicking the WRs asses. Bad! Not even close.

However probably a lot of PI on some of those plays. But interesting to watch

Gotta side with Smuphy on this one.

Its red zone and they are practicing a handful of plays over and over, the odds are pretty good what the defense is gonna see.

Yea, for those clips specifically, there is only a limited number of routes that can be run in a limited amount of space, and you know the ball is coming to you. Those drills are as much about fighting for 50/50 stuff as anything. Usually 1v1 drills favor offense, but ones like that, its probably a bit more even.

This is the most coverage since Tuberville closed practicesduring 2008 fall camp after ziemba and Coleman got in a fight and it made the papers.

Media is so so different now than it was back then… state papers with an ax to grind are basically non existent… media coverage is way more program friendly.

Antonio Coleman was a stud. 2008 was a sad year.
