Broome has through the 24th to make a final decision, right? Or am I just misremembering?

Ah, I was probably just misremembering the 24th being the date. Also, fwiw, ole P Marsh said this morning that it would be a surprise to those around the program if Broome doesn't return at this point.

Per NCAA, players who have put their names in for the NBA draft have until May 29th to withdraw and return to college for next season.
Players have till May 1st to enter their name in the transfer portal but can decide their destinations much later, all the way through summer if they want I believe.
I think the only exceptions to the transfer rules are for grad transfers and players going through a coaching change.

I think the 27th deadline was putting their name in for NBA draft related activities but could be wrong on that

Not to put the cart ahead of the horse...who am I kidding, yes let's put the cart ahead of the horse for now:
PG - Pegues / portal player
SG - Jones / Pettiford
SF - CBM / Moore / Howard
PF - Johnson / portal player / Scott
C - Broome / Cardwell
That would be 12 and Bruce always seems to have an extra scholly for a walk on.

I like it all as long you put portal player ahead of Johnson at the 4 spot.

I'm not necessarily ready to ride with Chaney no questions asked but I don't think it is make or break for next season if he is our starting 4. I think he can do it.

He is one of the most athletic players of the Bruce era.
He was ranked in the top 5 at one point for a reason.

He seemed to play worse as the year went on. All his stats seemed to have went down as the year progressed. Except maybe TOs.
