Not sure what info people have on Leary but Clemente seems to think things went well with Leary last weekend

The clear drop down after McCall and Leary (who we are trailing on) Is a massive drop.

It depends on who enters after their Bowl games. Sam Hartman from Wake Forest is another who is rumored to be contemplating the portal. He had 35 passing TD's this past season, and in 2021 he had 39 passing TD's and 11 rushing TD's.

Absolute giant fricking L for Auburn if we miss out on McCall because some genius hasn't figured out we should be offering sports management as a degree by now. All the classes people take online now and we can't throw some bs together and make this happen? Giant L.
look man, McCall is my number 1 as well, but Leary is legit as frick too. Watch the film. McCall is the best fit, Leary is an excellent back up plan if we miss on McCall

Rivals and ON3 reported he declined to interview

That’s all I’ve heard.

He's got predictions to Kentucky. We might feel good about Leary, but he didn't talk to reporters, so they are just going off what they've heard from coaches. He supposedly has the same major as McCall too.

You're assuming we are just going to get Leary when Kentucky is considered the favorite right now. I'm fine with either of them, but missing McCall because of this is just not acceptable in modern day athletics. To not offer a sports management degree is just stupid.

I like Hartman too, but he's still a drop down in quality from them. There's also no guarantee we can get him. We had McCall in the bag until this issue came up.

We lost Desi Sills in bb last yr because we didnt have sports mgmt degree. Many athletes major in this and its not a junk degree. UGA has it. It should be in college of business. Do i need to email Raymond Harbert?

I read his article and he doesn’t quote Leary, he just said a lot of UK football players are saying he’s going there.

I think if he told any UK players that it would have been on his visit there, which was BEFORE his visit to AU. So I wouldn’t read too much into any of the Kentucky insider CBS or On3’s prediction machine which is based on the same info from UK. I don’t think he’s got any reason to silent commit so until he talks or commits somewhere I’m not going to make any opinion or be swayed by others. We simply don’t know.

That degree is for those who want to work with sport agencies and not necessarily be Agents.

The degree is junk…. Auburn shouldn’t be in the business of offering worthless degrees just so some transfers can get in.

It sucks, but oh well.

On the QB stuff, Auburn has offered Hank Brown. He was committed to Liberty and played for Dilfer’s high school. Low 3* QB

By what metric are you basing that on? For example, from PFF: LINK

McCall is good, but he's not Caleb Williams here. Coastal Carolina also plays nobody (their best opponent this year was who? Troy?)

Hartman would absolutely be in a similar category to Leary/McCall. The Tulane kid is comparable as well (he actually has much more success running than McCall does, and this is something that is brought up as a "skill" for McCall).

On3 is very accurate with their predictions. Obviously not 100% but dang close. I’d expect it to be a be more accurate since it’s a grad transfer (just my opinion). UK wasn’t even in the picture for him until UK hire Cohen again as OC. I have a feeling we’re going to whiff on Leary and McCall.

Just by me watching them play. Leary and McCall are 1st round potential. Hartman is more 2nd-3rd round potential. I would still take him in a heartbeat, but like I said there's no guarantee we could even get him and we we're close to having McCall wrapped up.

As far the the Tulane QB.. He would be an improvement to what we currently have, but he's meh. Tulane won because of their RB not the QB. I think he's only a 59% passer and he's TD/INT numbers don't jump out either. Like I said, an improvement over what he currently have.. but a clear drop off from Leary and McCall to him.

Most degrees are not particularly useful. I’ve learned way more by doing than I ever did in school.

Big, fast, mean dudes may need a “degree” that lends itself to autopilot.

UNC had fake classes for years.
