Oh no! We have to be stuck with the higher rated Leary. Everybody panic!!!

McCall not coming doesn’t infer that we get Leary necessarily. We knew we wouldn’t get both but it’s also highly possible we get neither of them.

You guys need to chill, we will end up with one of them and cant go wrong with either.

Question on Leary though, I keep hearing he cant go through spring practice. He was operated on the end of October and it was supposed to take 2-3 months, that would not keep him out of spring would it, were there complications?

Not from what I have read, I don’t get why everyone is saying that. I’ve even seen people say he still needed surgery but that’s not true either.

Andrews did his surgery mid October and said it was a success. I’m sure AU has consulted with him regarding Leary’s progress.

Jang pre-deployment :

(Edit) On the QB's, with the reported excitement from the C of C QB, I can't imagine he'd cancel for any other reason than classes/eligibility issues. It will be interesting to see if he visits UF. Its a harder school to get into admissions-wise. The NC State broken wing QB looks like a good option if he can heal up on schedule.

From everything I can find Leary should be good to go for spring practice. A torn pec takes ~4 months for an average person to recover from so that would put him at a mid-February recovery. He’s an elite athlete though so I’d imagine that he could recover even faster from it.

Torn pecs (and torn quads) are very strange for skill athletes like a QB. Seems like those types of injuries usually happen for big guys that may or may not be using gear/juice. I certainly can't remember a QB ever having a torn pectoral. It must suck to have that injury.

Because everybody’s on the visit so if we don’t hear about it immediately, usually you have to wait until everybody starts leaving and doing interviews which is typically Sunday

Sorry to interrupt you lame asses but KN reporting that it looks like Sylvester Smith will be in town today. Would be surprised if we got him, but man we dropped the ball on this one.
