That really sucks imo. McCall is the better player imo and he's actually healthy. I don't need to see Calzada 2.0

Hate to hear that but I can imagine Conway SC credits come at a discount. In today's times of paying players. Not sure why we need to check class credits. Oh well.

I don't know who's better but a lot of the sites have Leary as #1 and not all even have McCall #2.
I get the injury concern - I share it - but the Calzada comparison doesn't make sense. ZC never did anything in the same universe as Leary in 2021.

Kinda dumb comparison. Calzada was never considered a top 5 transfer QB. And didn't he get "hurt" fricking off and get a non football related injury?

I’d think if Auburn was in it even a little bit he’d still come on the visit. Something suddenly came up. Don’t know if it was credits or Leary being in town or something else. It will be interesting to see if he goes down to Florida in the next week.

Considering that all of our insiders (and some CC guys) have been hyping McCall saying that he wants to come here, I'm guessing something came up

McCall reached out to Auburn before he entered the portal. it was also rumored last year he looked at entering the portal and transferring to Auburn.

Per 247, the state of Alabama has 12 top 100 recruits this year (a record, by a long shot) and Auburn appears unlikely to land one.
Hard to believe how far we’ve fallen as a program.
For reference on how truly loaded this class is, the 2024 Alabama in state class only has 3 top 100 recruits. All three are committed to Alabama or Georgia already. The 2022 class only had 5 top 100 recruits.

1. How do you get this far 3 years in college and not know if you can get into Auburn? Sounds sus.

Why the heck are you bringing in facts that make me want to do another shot? Long term answer is we have a coach that will not let that happen again. Short term answer is when will the state have that many in the top 100??

I doubt we’ll see it again. There’s more talent in Alabama this year than Georgia which is unheard of. Really sucks we couldn’t capitalize on this because it’s going to be challenging to land top guys from the state of Georgia with Kirby soon to be rolling in back to back Nattys.

Not all credits are created equal. There is more than likely going to be things Auburn will not accept from Coastal Carolina.
