He may be, but I don’t know what an OC can do when his QB’s consistently don’t throw to wide open people.

Just seems that we need some very foxy and clever play calling to make up for our weaknesses, but are getting a lot of predictable choices and no pizzazz.

If I were Hugh the OC would be fired tomorrow, even if you don’t have the players in place yet this offensive production is embarrassing. When LSU scored 17 I said that’s ball game because we can’t score enough at that point to win.

I just saw Greg Brown on the USC sidelines talking to Caleb Williams.

He really is a hired gun. TigerPawl loved him.

Looked like, in one play in the 4th, he ran out of bounds 2 yards shot of the marker when he could have bulled ahead, taken a hit and made a first down.
I had to stop myself from screaming "Big Pussy" at the tv. My kid was watching with me.

At least the LSU cops can tackle. Here is that scene of the fan that went onto the field.

Honestly don’t think it would have been too much better unless he brings Dart or a big QB transfer with him. Even then we’d still need some WRs.

This passing offense is so terrible that Jarquez has regressed running behind a better o-line. Hugh has to make some decisions to right this ship and salvage what’s left of the season. If I were Hugh I would start with benching Thorne and taking over play calling.

Throne 12/23 102 yards 52% completion percentage

Ashford 3/4 52 yards 75% completion percentage

We will beat NMSU and that’s it. Hugh’s first season win total will equal that of last year’s team which is truly embarrassing, I don’t care what anyone tries to say. At least the team under Coach Carnell looked like they cared and wanted to win and had some sort of purpose/direction. The product Freeze and Co have been putting on the field is some of the most frustrating football to watch. Which is par for the course for AU I suppose. Hope he can bring in some more talent next year including a new OC.

And I thought that’s exactly what we were supposed to be getting with Freeze.

If RPO is what we want to do, why are you pulling the guy off the field that was running RPO the best tonight in the middle of drives? Can't you correlate that when you pulled Ashford the drives died? The best throw was from Ashford, the best running lanes for RB or QB was with Ashford. PT wouldn't even stick it out for a few yards to make it first down several times. He's afraid to be hit. It's not working, stop forcing it. Ashford should definitely get the reps and the start this week, or I dunno STOP pulling him when the offense is succeeding.

You cannot be this fricking dumb.

Just checked: The QB that Carnell recruited and accepted a commitment from last year, Keyone Jenkins, he currently has a QBR of 18.5 for Florida International. It took Freeze coming in to tell the guy to look around.
