Thorne needs the boot to free up a scholarship, Hugh needs to call the plays, and Montgomery needs to be gone also. The offense has not progressed at all, might could argue they regressed.

Again, Thorn passed for 5,919 yards in 2021 and 2022. So he had better receivers at Michigan State, but they were THAT much better? And he never got hit in the Big 10? He isn’t used to big time college football contact? I’m just mystified.

Freeze loves those back shoulder throws to tall receivers maybe slightly under thrown to try to nab a PI if no catch. Those 50-50 balls are fine.
I agree though there are plays where Thorne misses things and there are others where any play will be contested, thus low percentage.
