Cautiously optimistic about the defense. We won’t play anyone beside cupcakes that are that generous with how awful Cal’s playcalling was.

I think we can get creative enough with the blitzes to keep us in games. Much more worried about the offense than the run D at this point

Think UGA, aTm, Bama, LSU, Ole Miss, Arky gonna try to stretch us wide all game?

Or is it the Clemson/Miss State game in 2010? Or Miss State game in 2013?

Not saying we will be anywhere near that this year, and your comparison is probably more accurate. But it’s a new team and staff and I fully believe we will get better as the year goes on. Sometimes you just have to find a way to win baby!

I think that was the Pac whatever's first loss this year too. I think the broadcast said they we're 18-0 going into this game.

2nd. Miss State beat Arizona earlier today.

Blocking on offense is terrible. The line can't hold blocks for crap and the down field blocking is non existent. The receivers always seem to be going through the motions

A win is a win is a win. One of the best defensive performances ive seen from an Auburn defense. They were put in a hole the entire game and never flinched. Ever.

Secondary with multiple picks. fourth down stops. Timely sacks. timely hurries. very few missed tackles.

Offensively, what a shitshow. Thorne is our Qb, roll with him. And ffs, give Thorne some easy throws to settling him in the game. Dont just run him like a read option guy when he looks like he is running with lead shoes

Let’s not leave out the TEs. Luke Deal literally had to block for 1.5 seconds, and Ashford had nothing but green grass ahead of him. How are you that damn big and can’t block?

Outside WRs. Our slots are good.

Fairweather made a couple very nice catches but is a pitiful blocker

i'm pretty willing to roll out Gurneer or DTHB at this point.

The other two are low ceiling kind of guys and in a boring known quantity kind of way. At least give us something new.

I agree, which is strange.

If they’re not going to open up the offense for Ashford, then I agree. Let’s see what Rooster can do.
