He is almost hitching before throwing a timing throw because I think he isn’t sure if the WR is gonna be wher they are supposed to be.

I counted 3 times (and there were probably more I didn't see or weren't shown on TV) where he was yelling at relievers and motioning with his hands like they were supposed to do something. Didn't see any really blatant mixup between him and receivers but a couple of those incidents I'm talking about he did t throw and either ran for short gain or was sacked.

It's clear everyone is still not on the same page with the option routes and reading the coverages. But that kind of stuff takes time to get that rhythm and trust down.

Overall ugly game. Just awful on offense. Sloppy with costly penalties and giving the ball away. Coaches have to get that cleaned up. They played a pretty clean game last week as far as penalties and such go so they need to get some consistency there.

Defense was better and played lights out in the redzone. Cal kicker bailed us out. Eugene Asante had a monster game and we are going to need that man to keep up that kind of play going forward. Hope Kaufmann and Marcus Harris aren't hurt too bad and can get back soon. Those are two more that have played very good the first two games and we need them going forward.

On to the next one. WDE.

Why is it that no offensive coordinator can put together short intermediate routes for the receivers? It always seems like it's a run or 15-20 Yard pass. That one 7-8 yard crossing route was awesome.
