It doesn’t look like Bama will pursue. I think Clemson and ND will be our competition there

LSU's On3 site just gave updates on Kyren Lacy and O'Cyrus Torrence since they both just took visits there.

Lacy - Alabama is supposedly entering the mix here. AU felt good but that seems to be dwindling, especially if Alabama starts pushing. Hopefully we can pull this one out because the staff felt confident, but then he left without committing and went to LSU to visit and now supposedly he might have Bama in his ear.

Torrence - This one was looking more like Florida, but the LSU site is suggesting that Auburn is making a major push. This would obviously be huge as he's a significant OL.

New update on Torrence: he just locked in a visit to Florida this weekend. He's also planning a decision this weekend. So probably not very good news there unfortunately.

Big body with some pretty decent speed and really good hands. Big play threat obviously by the ypc.

Bad news if we miss on our OL transfer targets.

I have been raising the red flag about the portal. You can't rely on it because everyone will use it.

With the talent I've seen come across the portal. Our only excuse to have a bad offense is that we aren't willing to fork over the NIL money.

Honestly, the portal kind of sucks if you are hoping to rebuild a roster.

You seem to think its either recruiting or portal.

When in reality, if you aren’t doing both then you’re falling behind. You have to do both

Gotta do both but I agree with AUCE to an extent that you probably don’t want to build a roster through it but supplementing position groups in an age where transfers are rampant is just necessary.

There’s no question about that part
