Im glad they are coming back, remember the current players could not beat them out for a starting job. Its gonna take a few years to straighten all this out, patience, patience, Ill let you know when to take the pebble from my hand.

any insight as to why they are hitting the portal? Are these guys getting playing time?

I think any players on CFB playoff teams would wait until the season is over before going into the portal so they would still have a chance to get a ring and be a part of the championship run. We’ve had 8 or 10 hit the portal so far so I don’t see thuga or uat losing a few now as being such a big deal. Somewhat expected.

When you stack up talent, some really good players are going to be looking for more playing time

Plus NIL now - not all 5 stars will simply wait 2-3 years to play when they can get paid now. We should absolutely feast on them as much as possible.

Mims got playing time in several games as a freshman, thats odd he would enter the portal.

Some like Quick and Brown for Alabama, have languished for years on the bench, I can see them trying another school.

Just affirms what many on here have said, even highly ranked linemen are hit or miss when it comes to college.

But Mims is a head scratcher. Perhaps many are testing the water to see what NIL money is out there, then asking the home team to match it. Boy we have opened pandora's box with this and the portal.

UGA has stacked up on the o line and they keep them coming. I don’t think Webb among many of the others we were chasing will ever see the light of day other than back up

That’s where we should be looking

That’s what I don’t get about these kids. Depth chart used to be a big factor for recruits. Now, they act like they don’t the fact that they’re probably going to ride the pine and might not ever start.

Kids r ok riding the pine as long as they get opps as a RS Soph or Jr. and program is winning. Comp makes kids better and those programs are gonna send them to the league.

It’s when a Freshman pass them over it’s time to move on

You have to make sure you maintain your shrubs. That helps make your deck look bigger.

You just don't want to go too crazy and remove the shrubs completely, would really be a bad look

Penn State RB Noah Cain is in the portal. KN thinks he’d like to move south
