I guess I don't see what is so enjoyable about pissing on someone else's parade. I think we are in for a rough few years. However, what exactly is the point of trying to hammer that home on all the posters on this board?

Bottom line is I hope they are right and I am wrong. But some of the posters here just want to keep fighting over the same things--- things that we cannot change.

Our recruiting this year was not enough, but it was also not a total disaster. It is possible to fall in the below acceptable range and still believe the sky is not falling.

This not directed at you, as much as some others, but I honestly think some would rather the teams go down in flames and be proven right and that attitude sucks the joy out of boards like this.

88, I learned my dad flew the A4 Skyhawk and was a fairly new aircraft for the navy at the time, I remember him saying years ago.

I really wasn't trying to even say one side was right or wrong but I guess the way I worded it made it seem otherwise. I was mainly just trying to point out the reason everyone was on edge at the moment.

I remember you saying that in the other thread about his passing. I flew in the T-A4 which was a training AC when I went through training. Fun AC to fly and dogfight in. I know he had a good time in those.

No issues. I also may have over reacted but in this world and especially right now we are in a lot of gray. This NIL is just legalized what was happening before except there is a lot more money involved.
There will be those that don't go to class etc and it will be to the detriment to the university.

I for one would love to have a G League for the NFL and get back to college football and take the big money out of it. Get it back to playing and being an amateur student athlete. But those days are over.
