I saw that too. Interesting. But this would be the second time he has transferred… is that good?

He’s got the physical tools and traits you’d want in an OT. Not sure how he’s actually looked though.

I don't remember him transferring. I do remember losing the recruiting battle to Tennessee, though.

We just need the dues. And he has good upside.

Someone posted a month or so ago that we had 13-14 OL on the roster as if that was normal. Absolutely not. We need 17. Depending on the staff's philosophy maybe even 18. This kind of roster management stuff is where Gus just couldn't lock it down.

You can transfer once with no strings attached. He will have to sit out a year on a second transfer unless there are some special circumstances.

I believe he is referring to Kenyatta Watson, a CB at Georgia Tech that transferred there from Texas. He is the son of the guy that you mentioned.

Maybe Wanya has a sick grandmother or something plus could appeal that his coach left. Seems the ncaa dgaf who transfers for what reason right now. Probably because Congress busted that arse hard a couple years ago

Ah, interesting. Did not know he moved to Ok.

He can't be worse than our current linemen, can he?

I know Friend was at Tenn when Wanya was, people are saying they don’t like each other.

More evidence that Friend is being retained as OL coach if Wanya comes, since he recruited him to UTee and was his coach for his AA FR season.

That transfer to OU was kind of a head scratcher.

ETA: that is if it's not true that they didn't like each other
