OU boards said he tore his ACL a few years ago and never recovered. His HS coach is on Arkys staff. He won't be a Burks.

Yeah, he won't be Burks, but he is still a top end talent at a position that we need any talent we can get.

I don't think we were ever in a serious position to sign him out of the portal, but it just stings a little more that he will be direct competition for the rest of his eligibility. (Which I think is only one more year)

Also according to a source, Auburn "is back in the game ... big time. Feel good."

Mario Cristobal-to-Miami cracked open the door for Auburn and the Tigers are kicking the sumbitch down.

Awesome that helps. D Davis or Granier will need a good WR to throw to next year.

On3 guys are pretty confident on Ausberry and Clemons. Looking like we've got some serious potential for an incredible finish.

Gonna be a big difference for Christobol coaching a team that only has 457 people in the stands

Along with those two 4*s, I think everyone is also on the same page regarding 4* CB JaDarian Rhym and 4* LB Robert Woodyard

Appear to be in good shape for 4* LB DeMario Tolan and 4* RB Justin Williams.

Gotta think Auburn likes where it is with 3* WR Camden Brown.

What really amps up the rankings at this point are guys like 4* DT Khurtiss Perry, 4* DT Jeffrey M’Ba, 4* DT Tyre West, 4* OT Julian Armella, 4* OT Antavious Woody, 4* RB Trevonte Citizen, 4* OT Malik Agbo, 4* WR Antonio Williams

Need a couple of those guys in the last group for a shot at a 12ish ranking

Gonna be great when we finish up strong.

I'd consider even a top 15 class ahead of schedule for getting a solid recruiting footprint set up.

Our best possible finish is probably 9-12. I think we’re gonna be around 15.
#15 or so is what I expected. Now that we know this staff engages in Bobby Bowden/ FSU-style ninja recruiting, whereby we get commits from every 4* in a four state radius (and Oregon) the last week of early signing, there may be some upside #15.

I know, I know, I shouldn't get ahead of myself but I'm liking this, "shite, we're signing who?!" shadow recruiting.
