Seems like a “commit to the program” kid, especially with baseball involved. Very interested to see news from him

I’m sorry. I’m not on a first name basis like you are with our QB commit! Lol.

I didn’t know his first name.

Bo took major development steps this year under Bobo. With the improvements he made this year I expect him to ball out next year and maybe lead AU to a conference championship. He’s built rapport with his receivers, just need to get some of the OL to return for another year and the O will be much improved next year.

Sorry if someone already asked, but does Kelly leaving help with that linebacker?

Marcus Freeman is a strong internal candidate for the job. That would have been Bowen’s DC & LB coach. It’s safe to assume that if he gets the job there’s 0 chance and that Auburn’s only opening is if Freeman leaves ND. Not sure they’ll go with him but I imagine he’s retained.

Plus Bowen is also a baseball player so my thought is that he’s truly committed to the university. Especially when you consider the fact that he’s an in state catholic kid.

All this to say — don’t get your hopes up here. I’d give it a slim chance of helping Auburn

I never do man. After a player got an Auburn tattoo and then flipped to uat, I have been broken when it comes to recruiting.

“Built rapport with his receivers”??? For real?

What receivers? This team lacks so much talent on the outside and not one specific player was consistent with Bo. I don’t even understand that statement.

Kobe Hudson is not a #1 (decent #2 though if he improves his catching). Demetrius Robertson was meh. Javarrius Johnson is young and unproven. Shed Jackson is a joke, shouldn’t be playing. The TE’s are progressing but not threats.

All of the offensive weapons are lacking in talent or development right now and no wonder C-Will was fired and Bobo was too.

Kobe Hudson is not a #1? do what gtfo here. What kind of takes are these?

Shed Jackson saved our tails multiple times down the stretch even though he started off with mistakes for the most of the first 9 games of the season. His one big error was the Punt that should've been at the 1 in the iron bowl, then he went back and fixed that error.

The TEs are a major threat, get out.

JJ barely had enough play reps to be proven...that's OC/WR coach problem.

Kiseau made loads of progress from after that initial week of being moved. He can't get it all done--I still think the rotation was terrible--should've used Canion so he wouldn't leave.

I agree with all of this except Kobe. He is 100% not a #1 WR in the SEC. Did he end up being our "#1"? Yes - but that is a lowwwwww standard...

Man, I appreciate your willingness to back our guys but I'm not sure what you are watching. Receivers were a significant weakness this year. Our 1 is barely a 2, our 2 is barely a 3 all the way down the line...

Hudson is not a #1 when he can't even catch an uncontested square-in route for about 6 yards in the biggest game of the year.

But....he could be a #1a WR if he works hard, practices more on his hands and eye coordination AND gets stronger. He has potential.

I never said that wasn't the case that's putting words in my mouth, but Hudson made some plays down the stretch when he wasn't injured that were fantastic. Jackson was dreadful on the single side for most of the year, not being able to separate or make any plays, but he did do well sometimes for crossing routes. JJ simply didn't get enough play time, Canion and Capers were seen as a threat in the spring, yet they weren't used well enough in the fall. Didn't see enough of King, but overall we need tons of help in the WR both coaching and playing. We simply are mediocre at best.

ETA: Oh and TEs were fantastic all year.

With early signing day 2 weeks away, anyone we can close with or any surprises to help boost the class?
