UCF QB could be a solid add for depth assuming the QB whisperer coach down there didn't undo all he ever learned about QB

Darren Uscher (director of recruiting) has followed Dillon Gabriel, Jack Miller (Ohio State QB), and Tiyon Evans (Tenn RB) on Twitter in the last day or two. All three just entered the transfer portal.
If Bo isn't here next year then Gabriel is a GREAT option.

No one knows enough about Jack Miller to say anything either way. Can't be much worse than Finley though, so again if Bo leaves its worth a look.

Evans shouldn't even be contacted unless we think Tank might really transfer. If we keep Tank, Hunter, Alston and add Williams or Citizen to that list then thats already a really good room without needing a transfer.

You’ve got to think Ole Miss is the heavy favorite with him. Lebby recruited him to UCF.

Probably because we aren't getting many OL this year lol. Makes sense to start him off at the position that we need the most help in.. then switch him to D later if he's not a good enough OL.

I don't know how many of yall have been paying attention, and I'm no Mike Bobo fan but I have to give him credit here, Holden Geriner has had a GREAT season this year and looks like one of the top QBs in the class... Maybe the best (he won't get there in the rankings though). Still to be seen how it translates to college, but I expect him to take Finleys spot next year.

I was watching Geriner’s highlights earlier. He looks solid.

I don’t think anyone else on his team is a D1 player.

No, I'm not talking about players in the portal.

Then what are you referencing?

All the players we are now visiting and trying to flip. Sorry Jonesy, I had a brief re-melt over Saturday earlier. I'll try to keep it out of this thread at least and make sure I only bleed on the other posts referencing Saturday.

They have a good WR I think but I'm not sure about his offers or anything, but he def carries them. They have been scoring a ton of points all year against a very tough schedule though. They had to have had one of the the hardest schedules in the state this year.

I bet Kedon Slovis from USC hits the transfer portal soon.

Even if Nix is here next year, which I hope he is, I'd still take that guy all day for the depth. He would actually be a legit backup option, unlike Finley

No thanks. If you think people complain about Nix, just imagine Nix with a superiority complex.

I don't care for him but just saw he entered the portal. Would rather have a Oklahoma offensive lineman instead

Don’t want Rattler near this team.

The Gibbs kid from GT entered the portal and Pinkston thinks there could be something there. Also sounds like Caddy’s in home with Citizen went as well as could have hoped and we might actually have a shot.

A&M has now put the full court press on Citizen. This is going to be a dog fight.

Should also be mentioned that LSU very well may end up keeping him. Unlike Demario Tolan and JaDarian Rhym, Trevonte Citizen is a Louisiana kid and the pull toward LSU is very strong.

The longer they go without a coach the better for Auburn

Maryland 5* LB Terrance Lewis has entered the portal.

Auburn passed over him a while back. Was also committed to Tennessee at one time.

Interesting. He had a lot of character concerns coming out of high school that led a lot of schools to back off and I believe it was thought that Auburn was in that boat.

Not sure if they’ll pursue.

A reminder to the board since the portal is new. Most kids (that are good) know where they’re going before they enter the portal. Not a lot of actual recruitment takes place, unfortunately.
