I just want lots of really good SEC linemen on both sides of the ball.

One great WR is not going to get us to a championship level.

Need quality depth at the line of scrimmage.

Yes, I want playmakers as well, but I really want to see big, mean, explosive athletes on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

I was optimistic after his visit but we’ve lost to ND on catholic kids in much more painful ways in recent years Pretty clear he wanted to stay local

Need to focus on the southeast. Most of 2023 is pretty concentrated there which should help us out

Should I start to panic yet? Just checking when the right time is.

About losing a ‘23 Catholic kid from Indiana to ND? Nah. About losing Clemons? Only if we miss on Williams.

This staff will have to learn just like every AU staff before them. AL, GA, & FL are the meat of our recruiting base. Anything wise is just gravy.

That's what I've been saying. AL, GA, FL. Hammer it hard.

If you are just focused on Football, I would wait a few more weeks…

Focused on Auburn Athletics? It’s time to panic because we are being outrecruited systematically…Basketball, Football… 2023 recruiting in Swimming and Gymnastics is even worse (we are currently fighting for average recruits here). Everything was fine pre-NIL, now it’s all upside down…

What about diving? We got plenty NIL for that? Just wondering because if not I'm about to start to panic.

could not agree more.

Our OL needs a lot of work.

Our DL needs an upgrade and more depth.

Our WR's/TE's have shown recently we have enough at the position right now.

I know a lot of midseason commits aren't going our way, but it appears those were already with their mind set anyway. If we get us a few more wins this should change everyone's perspective of the program I would think.

So, you want them to just abandon a recruiting relationship that they've been working hard on for years? Seems absurdly silly.

Suni has nothing to do with recruiting. Graba's twin brother is her coach and he got lucky... Olivia Greaves (another 5-star) will sign her LOI next week (she got recruited by Suni, not Graba, she lost her scholarship offer at Florida, so we picked her up). Lyden Saltness (4-star, 2023 commit) is another Graba/Graba athlete. That's pretty much it, there is nothing left in the Graba/Graba pipeline. Alabama, LSU, and Florida had tons of 5-star prospects visiting over the past few weeks while Auburn just hosted a few committed 3-stars. Arkansas now has UCLA legends on its coaching staff, they will soon become the #4 power in the SEC behind LSU, Alabama, and Florida. Arkansas has the most advanced and successful NIL system in NCAA, currently.

LSU and Alabama just landed two 5-star gymnasts each and they are already loaded. Florida has an All-Star team, probably the most talented team in NCAA history (all sports), lots of World Champions, and Olympians and they just keep signing 4-stars and 5-stars.

Swimming is worse, we were ranked top 10 recruiting classes nationally (Men/Women) last year and are fighting for average recruits in the 2022 and 2023 classes. For instance, NC State and Virginia have advanced NIL systems in place and keep signing the best swimmers in our region and nationwide...it's a systematic issue, not just Football.

The staff has to pursue guys like Darius Clemons, Malik Agbo, and so on if we’ve got a shot. I don’t think that’s in question here.

But I do agree that AL/GA/FL has to be the focus and I think it has been. Especially in the ‘23 class where these coaches have had a full cycle to build relationships. They’ve gone where they have needed to for ‘22 to make the class work

That said, we need to raid a state when it makes sense. Right now, Louisiana needs to be that aforementioned gravy

Yes your statement is absurdly silly since that's not what I said.

I guess he thought he'd get homesick, or he doesn't like flashing lights at his game or being in a conference
