We need to compliment them big old cheese fed boys with some of those corn fed brutes from Nebraska.

Did anyone ever think it would have gotten to the point we would be excited that we are looking at 2 straight classes with a 4* OT in them? Gus really was something wasn't he?

Any chance we land big Gooch?

we have 3 spots why would we not want another offensive lineman?

Believe it or not, coaches look for more than warm bodies to fill spots
Some guys just don’t fit. Gooch is an awkwardly large guy and there’s some weird stuff around his high school career. Sounds like he left his team while they were in the state playoffs too.
I thought it was for the better when he flipped to Tennessee. If it were Gus and the old staff I’d say it’s probably ideal to take him but there’s nothing about the new staff that worries me on OL recruiting. There’s current depth on the OL but it’s just not high quality depth. I don’t think that Gooch help solve that problem

It has been repeated a few places, but we feel the quality of transfer OL will increase post spring. That is our target.

Maybe he knows more than people on message boards.. Weird how all these players who've actually been coached by Gus stand by him. Its almost like people make up their own minds regardless of what the facts says..

MAR loves Gus. It’s the only reason why he came here over Miami where his brother played. Wouldn’t at all shock me if he returns to his home state to keep playing for Gus.
This is what I said last week. It’s really not surprising.
Message boarders have assumed that Gus was holding this guy back or that he was in the dog house. That’s just probably not the case here. Why did he only get 20 snaps last season? Probably won’t know. But I’m guessing with MAR going there that it wasn’t a big deal. Maybe a nagging injury or something along those lines

I haven't seen it posted on this board. But I did see where Cord Sandberg has transferred to Eastern Kentucky University.

He wants to coach and I think he’s trying to position himself with a prolific offensive coordinator for life after playing. WKU isn’t a bad spot with Zach Kittley.
Edit: In my head, he went to WKU. I see that he went to EKU
