Geriner hits his first read on about 90% of those throws. Not a bad thing, just an observation. Probably typical in HS football

That is fairly common, but he did do a decent job looking off defenders some. He wasn’t just staring them down.

Hell, Justin Fields threw to his primary receiver like 80% last year.

Pretty common in the college game, let alone high school.

Most of Auburn’s current commits will be at this weekend’s game against Akron.

Recruits to keep an eye on: 4* WR Darius Clemons, 4* DL Khurtiss Perry, 3* RB Quinshon Judkins.

I think Auburn would take Clemons and 4* WR Antonio Williams. Clemons could commit in the next few weeks. His visit this eeekend is an unofficial and he’s bringing his Mom, Dad, Step-mom, and 2 coaches. Writing is on the wall, IMO.

Williams is an Ole Miss legacy. South Carolina is also involved.

Wooden had 2 INTs, one was a pick-6. Also had a forced fumble

This the kid we only recruited because his brother is on the team, right?

Geriner has a throwing motion like Marino, he just flings that thing in a flash, none of this two step, drawing back from the ankles to get some umph on it. I like it, I like it a lot.

I am unsure of what kind of throwing motion Jesus had but I don’t think it was like Marino or Geriner.

He strikes me as a Soloman if we’re being biblical. Which, if not, we should be going forward

A little too early for crowning Geriner like that. Pretty sacreligious in my opinion.

We do. He’s really interested in seeing how the new DL coach (Eason) develops some of the guys up front. He’ll be at the Akron game

Sept 1 is the first day coaching staffs can directly contact 2023 kids so we’ll see a flurry of social media stuff Wednesday and the rest of the week.
