Sounds like Auburn made up some serious ground with 4* WR/ATH Omari Kelly. Visited with his mom

He’s did a virtual visit back in the spring. He visited in June and was at BCW. I’ve said for years now… follow the visits

‘23 4* (top 50) DE Vic Burley visited today. KN says he found out he’s related to DL coach Nick Eason.

From Warner Robins. That’s a southern Georgia kid that the staff will certainly prioritize

Damari Alston said another commitment is on the way. Jakobi Albert, Caden Story, and Drew Bobo all announce in the next few weeks. Omari Kelly could be a wild card

Auburn offered a pair of ‘23 LBs today in person.

UR Eric Muse of Birmingham and 4* Troy Ford from Savannah GA. Ford is listed at DL but I think Auburn likes him at LB

247 had been all over Eric Muse. He’ll be ranked quite high. He’s one of the more impressive looking athletes I can remember for his age. And he made it sound like the Auburn offer was a huge deal

All would be major additions

Just watched Drew Bobo highlights if his last name wasn't Bobo he'd be playing at central Arkansas State

Guys, I don't really follow recruiting like I used to. I'm not panicked about where we're at. That said, I'm seeing half the fan base flip out and half the fan base talk about how the tables are turning and we're turning the tide with some of the recent guys.

But looking at recent commits and prospective commits in the near future - purely from a ranking and offer list perspective - it looks merely ok.

So my question is this - does it seem like Harsin and Co. are targeting their guys and building the roster we want (albeit with 3 and 4 star talent), or are we fighting for what's left of the 4 star talent and having mixed results?

Basically - are the guys we're getting strategic pieces that we really think our coaching staff has identified as the ones we want, or are we scrapping for the remnants of a picked over class? I'm sure the real answer is more nuanced but give me your hot takes.

Harsin just isn't the type to go all out on a recruit he'll recruit hard but he won't let it get to the point where it's almost begging where all the other Coaches in the SEC will. But there's an adjustment for him and half the staff. More disappointed in Mason and Bobo.

No one on here actually knows and anyone who acts like they do is full of shite.

I haven’t seen any evidence to support whether this is true or false. This staff had 28 days in June to bring kids in and meet them in person for the first time since being at Auburn. Yesterday was the first day of this new period. It’s just impossible to know whether this statement is true or false
