I know we want a 2nd QB but I think we should do with out this year unless the right guy comes alone. Only bring in a guy that we feel will start in 2-3 years. Sandberg played pretty good so we will have 3 next year (I know 4 is the magic number) but Hudson could get so playing time there if a QB gets hurt.

2020 3* TE was once committed to Chad Morris.
He is a 6’7, 240+ pound TE.
KN believes Auburn has interest in him.

He will OV January 17th-19th.

Boggles my mind why any top ranked TE would ever consider Auburn. Is Morris known for utilizing that position more so than Gus?

I wouldn’t call the 24th ranked TE “top ranked”

Arky had a guy last year that did really well. One of the top TEs in the SEC.

Sal is a TE. He had a very solid year.

We will have Pegues as a true freshman, two redshirt freshmen, we still have not figured out where to put Joiner....and we want another TE/HB?
Give me another down lineman on defense and a grad transfer OT.

I'd be interested in knowing how much he actually lined up at TE vs Reciever. Regardless, Sal didn't have a particularly good year statistically. Hopefully we do start to utilize TEs more with Morris coming in

In today's game the TE lines up all over the field. Gronk would line up wide occasionally. He would line up in the slot constantly.

Dwayne Allen & Jordan Leggett and Clemson were great.
CJ O’Grady was great for Arky. So....yeah.

I remember them targeting their TE a bunch in our game this year. Dude was a beast.

Morris definitely uses the TE more in his more complex passing offense. The stats bear that out.
The question is will Gus allow it to be added and then used in his offensive play calls?

This Burks guy mean we’re not getting McKinley?
Posted on 12/28/19 at 2:05 pm to RandySavage
Yeah. Burks is definitely a backup plan. But a player we are not ready to take.
