Are we the favorites for either guy? I know we are in it for both, but I thought we we behind a couple of teams as of now.

Auburn's defensive line recruiting got a big boost Wednesday morning when 4-star end Jay Hardy of Chattanooga (Tenn.) McCallie School committed to the Tigers over in-state Tennessee.

Lulz. Volnation is claiming we paid him. I guess they fail to account for us having the best DL in the country and pump guys to the league.

Thread title hasn't been updated yet? This thread sucks too!

Let ‘em! This is awesome.
Even Neibuhr said last night he heard from multiple sources that we faced an uphill battle.
Garner at his finest.
Edit: second time we busted the CB this year.

It was too weird to me that he was planning return trips

One thing that we (meaning AU and fans) don't push more is how nice the campus and downtown is. Our facilities are great too. UT cant really compete with that.

They are melting hard. Claiming we steal someone who is a silent to them every year (I feel like it’s usually them trying to swoop in and steal a commit from us and we keep them). Also saying they develop DL just as well as us

The dorms are first class, Clemson even copied us there. Wellness kitchen is great. Need our football only center.

Love the Hardy commit. Did not think we would land him so RG pulled more of his magic.
But, looking at your target list, are we really done at OL?

Do you really want to open that topic again?

The short answer is that we don’t really know. This feels like a class where some random OL commits and signs on NSD. But to my knowledge we’re not really in on anyone else and not in good shape for anyone else.
It’s a solid but unspectacular OL class.
Jernigan is the #20 OG, Johnson is the #22 OG. Cohen is the #25 OT, Wright #60. And we got the #1 and #7 JUCO OTs.
In more ways than one, this feels like a classic Tuberville OL class.

Grad transfer or bust on the OL

I'm honestly curious. Not trying to stir anything up. I don't watch recruiting as closely as I used to, but do know we have been lacking there. The one class we did have that looked promising with Ashley, and Brahms, and Troxell looked promising, but has been a bust.
I did go through the top OL recruit's on rivals a few mins ago and the 2020 class didn't seem to be a very deep class and Ohio State and Georgia picked clean the top guys. I was honestly curious is we were done with one 4* and a few 3* guys with no other targets. Seems we need to go all out on the grad transfer OL, as another poster said, and patch this thing together next season.
Seems we have WR and DE out the arse just from the top of my head with last year's class and this year. I was just thinking Gus and Co would be all in on Olinemen last year and this cycle.
