Utah? what kind of competition is that? How can be good enough for the SEC, with no other Power 5 offers than...Utah?

He's a lottery ticket prospect that we can take in 2019 because Cam’Ron left the program. It’s very straight forward

Who cares? We have a slot to fill, let's fill it. I believe the rule is basically use it or lose it now regarding the 25 scholarships per class.

Hey frickhead. Perhaps you need to go and rewatch the NFL draft. Count the Utah players drafted vs the Auburn players drafted. Come back and tell us what you found. (It’s currently Utah 2 and Auburn 1. LINK).

Kyle Whittingham is a great coach that consistently puts people in the NFL. In a very weak PAC-12, his team will always be in contention for the title. They are about to dump a ton of money into stadium expansion and updates. Their PAC-12 road schedule goes to places like: USC, Oregon State, Washington, and Arizona. While not football powerhouses, it beats the shite out of road trips to Starkville and Tuscaloosa.

Oh, I did I mention that Salt Lake is one of the best cities in the US and world class skiing is less than 30 mins away?

I’ve often wondered why schools like Utah and Colorado weren’t better football schools. The schools recruit themselves.

Because world class skiing isn't high on the the recruitment wishlist of most black athletes? Just a guess.

Can’t speak for Utah but nobody in Colorado cares about college football. Facilities aren’t great, students don’t care, and there’s no natural rivalry. No other Pac12 schools nearby. I think CU vs Nebraska was a thing at some point but both programs now are shells of their former selves.

Don’t get me wrong - Boulder is a cool place and athletes are celebrated like any other school but there’s no college football culture.

You think this matters at all to 85% of big time college football recruits? There is almost nothing appealing about SLC and skiing to young black kids. And you think going to Oregon State or Arizona twice in a career for a night in a hotel and a football game compares to getting to play in BDS, Tiger Stadium, the Swamp, Neyland, Sanford etc..... Come on dude

ummm...2-1...that's not saying much, since my team hasn't put a NFL player in the first or second round for years now..

But i understand your loyalty to Utah. Good for you. Still doesn't answer the question of how good this player is when he is not offered from top ranked schools.
And you're reasons doesn't hold water when your team goes to the Holiday, Heart of Dallas Bowl, Foster Farms Bowl, and Las Vegas Bowls the last 5 years. And you have been in like 6 conferences, trying to find a place to play...

If Whittingham wants him and has offered, that’s good enough for me.

Utah has been trash since they joined the Pac. I can't believe you referenced them. Wait, actually I can.

Results are remarkably Auburn like. 3 bad years. But whatever. I’d love to have Whittingham at Auburn. The guy can coach.

I can just imagine how much black kids from Southern California love Mormons & Snow...

The HS Football in Utah & Colorado isn't good enough to field good teams. Colorado & Utah have to be able to recruit California to field great football teams. That's why they don't win consistently. Those kids are going to the mountains to be cold & celibate...

World class skiing

I know..but those other years have been terrible. We are tied w/ Vanderbilt for the number of 1st round draft picks over the last 5-6 years from SEC teams. that is poor.

I just quickly didn't like the guy calling me a frickhead...just bc I'm not sold on the commitment. lol. I got lazy...

More happy OL news. 3* OL Marlon Martinez named LSU his leader after his OV but says AU is top contender. Staff plans to visit him this week & try to get an OV before decision

LSU has the #1 recruiting class currently. We mock coach O but he’s getting it done.
