No, no it's just a total coincidence the teams that recruit at an elite level are generally the ones in the playoff every year.
It's always smarter to deal in outliers.

If the coaching staff needed recruiting ratings to confirm their thoughts on either/or first come first serve situations, I’d be concerned.
I don’t know why Pouncey jumped to Texas so quick though. Is Dennis silently committed?

Also BJ Okulari told Rivals he is committing next Friday. AU is believed to be as in a good of a spot, if not better, with LSU & the Vols.

Nice.
And, Dennis v. Pouncy is not the same as a 5* vs a 3*. Our staff clearly has them valuated at the same level - plus with the JUCO guys coming in, neither Dennis or Pouncy will likely see the field for a few years, giving them time to develop. Not sure why anyone is concerned between the two.

I'm not applying any absolute. Dennis may end up the next Charles Woodson and Ethan Pouncey may quit after spring ball his freshman year and never play again. But, I'd rather have a guy ranked in the top 100 over a guy barely sneaking in the Top 247 100 times out of 100. Hopefully this will be one of the cases where the "experts" got it wrong.

Ojulari appears to be trending to LSU. The LSU reporter for Rivals has picked BJ to LSU. While the 2 LSU 247 reporters haven't put picks in yet they are very confident for LSU.

Evaluating talent and being able to recruit and coach it are two completely different things.
Whatever, just get Ga'Quincy in 2021 and it'll be all good.
