Thread on the rants says Tennessee RT Drew Richmond is in transfer portal. Was the #56 player in USA when he came out in 2015. Dont know anything about how hes played but maybe we could take him? Drew Richmond

He was the starting right tackle for UT last year.

To take him might be a wash honestly. UT's OL was pretty bad last year.

Drew Richmond would definitely be a take. He would be a starter, unless Darnell Wright is what everyone is predicting.

Looking at our tackles, if Prince goes pro, what do we have left, Driscoll and a bunch of unproven fellas, Troxell may step up but after that a wasteland.

We need a couple of more linemen this cycle. Bell a probable. Olaseni might, might come, and probably would need a year to contribute. Best take Richmond, if Prince goes pro and Driscoll gets hurt, we in deep caca at tackle.

Still doesnt fix our glaring issues at OL in 2020 and 2021. We will have to pick up one or two grad transfers again next year and hope, hope, we get a decent undergrad class.

but he's not, so this isn't an issue

Over Tega & Driscoll the 1 year all 3 would have left here? I doubt that.

May not be a take given academic concerns.

Okay, one gets hurt, who you put in? Troxell? thats the reason Driscoll is here, Ashley?

We dont need a serviceable backup option at tackle next year?

Suggestions on who we will take at OL, or are we happy with the usual 2 lineman per year?

We have way too much ammo now. The lesbian gym teacher can't preach instability anymore. If I were Gus, I would hammer home their inability to run a modern offense.

Knew when all their receivers left and Haselwood went OU they would make a hard charge. Hopefully it's too late.

Drew left UT because he didn’t want to be a backup. So he’s going to come here and be a backup?

I have learned in life regardless of your talent, you may not fit their organizational culture.

You're missing the point. A Grad Transfer aint often going to another school to be that school's depth insurance. And you may disagree with the staff & that's fine but with Tega Back the staff is now looking for undergrad transfers that can go in 2020 at OT instead of Grad Trasfers. Drtiscoll came to AU to be a starter which he has & is. Not to be depth. I'm not saying I agree with the staff. Just relaying what the staff is reported to think. Trust me, it drives me bonkers we have only signed 8 high school OL in nearly 4 full classes now instead of the 17-18 our rivals Bama, UGA, & LSU are doing.
