What has changed for him? Is Craig working him now? Martin had been trending to Auburn for weeks, maybe months, so it's not like he committed on a whim.

Just weird for a kid to commit one day and de-commit 3 days later.
His explanation is just as weird, "I want to concentrate on my academics." OK... you think CONTINUING your recruitment will give you MORE time for your academics? That doesn't even make sense, baw.
I suspect, with my sunny lil eye, that Auburn may have decided on another target like Merritt and that this kid's de-commit may not have been totally up to him.

Merritt could be a factor but they are completely different WR's. But we very well could have been in a position to take one more and will simply go with best available (Merritt).

We signed 3 very highly regarded receivers last year and two the year before. Talent isn't our problem at receiver, we just have to figure out how to get them the ball.
We need to sign one or two receiver this year to hold the depth and with all of our receivers being so young, JUCO and transfers seem to be an odd way to go with it.

apparently this kid has some issues with commitment. He is the same kid who committed to Mizzou and then 11 days later flipped to LSU. Weird damn kid.

As for positive news JUCO DE Isaiah Buggs put us in his top 5 with LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss & Texas A&M
Still think LSU has good lead here but Garner always seems to close strong so not counting us out
