As far as the FBs,

I think Cox and Pettway are actually 2 of our better players.
With a true dual threat QB, these guys are not as good as JP35, but certainly are better than #11 Fulse from a few years ago

Jovon Robinson may be bigger, but you are really underselling his vision, shiftiness and ability to be "small" in the hole. The guy had it all. I just hope he can stay healthy and out of trouble. His talent is through the roof.

This ^^^^^^^

When he was in the game we were significantly better.

I liked CAP, but Robinson is much better player. He's the best RB we've had since 2004.

That's a bold, bold statement. Could be true, but how can you discount Mason's work? He had a 1000 yard season in 2012 and broke records in 2013. JR might have an overall better physical presence, but Mason clowned the SEC.

If we had a decent pass defense in 2013, Mason's last touchdown run would have gone down as one of the iconic moments in Auburn's history.

What? Barber was literally nothing like Mason. Like, I can think of no similarities whatsoever. I liked CAP, but Robinson is much better player'

My sentiments as well. So glad to have Robinson coming back, but nervous about our #2 back. barber/Robinson was a reliable combo.

If Sean White starts, we don't win more than 7 games before our bowl game

47.

She went to University of Buffalo. Does anyone know how/why she became an AU fan? If not, someone go ask her on Twitter and report back.

Reading through what Malzahn said in his presser about commits. I wish we could hire a spokesperson for Malzahn who could make it interesting and not sound canned/vague as sh**

This stood out bout Marquis McClain

quote:

“Is another big receiver. He’s about 6-2, 200 pounds and has a 40-inch vertical and runs a 4.5. He came to camp and really stood out to us.”

Sounds like Sammie Coates 2.0. 3* with elite measurables

I'll bet you a beer that when he starts we win more than 7 games prior to the bowl game.

This class was successful because of the long relationships our staff had with the recruits. Hopefully we can see some more development

I'll take that bet, Sean White will not win 8 or more games as the starter this season

Bet Win/Start Definitions

-Sean White must be named QB starter for the game
-Sean White must play >75% of QB snaps in the win
-Sean White must be QB all 4 quarters except due to blowouts (aka Cam Newton 1 half vs UTc)

Basically JF3/anyone else can be a "Wildcat" or special formation/play QB, but they cannot be having true QB Series constantly or during critical elements of the game

Exactly. We watched SW integrate with the first team offense right as we began our SEC schedule last year.
