We weren't even listed among the 5-6 schools he was considering according to 247.

We got our 1 passrush we in this class in James. That is the limit we have placed on ourselves. We cannot add anymore.

NFL Draft will further prove that point when none of them have the athleticism to play in the NFL.
NFL draft is a poor indication of talent/athleticism on a team. Just look at our 2013 team which has had 6 UDFA make rosters

But you just keep believing that Davante Lambert was ultra talented just under coached.
Lambert was never ultra talented but he lost a lot of speed/mobility due to his knee injury. He did not look the same as second half last year.
You can't argue that Garner can't develop and that we have no talent. If we have no talent, there is nothing for Garner to develop

Wait, you're expecting Auburn fans to be... rational?
Good luck with that.

No surprise that Kongbo decomitted. He committed right when he was blowing up and coming off a visit high. I think even UT fans knew he wouldn't stick. Looked like Oregon was trending at one point.
3* OT Lucas Niang will OV Jan 15th.

Interesting Article from Rivals
Our first 6 commits, 5 de-committed..
1) Landon Rice
2) JaMarcus King (USCe)
3) NGM (Still have a shot)
4) Quinnen Williams - Grew up Auburn, committed to us with out Gus's blessing, three day visit to Tide. Flipped to them.
5)David Marshall (maybe a double de-commit)
6) Jalen Blue (We upgraded)

We're in his top 3 despite him only visiting us once and basically getting little to no contact from AU in the past few months. To me he sounds like a fall back guy if we miss on these other OTs. I imagine the OV will blow him away. We could probably land him over Miami and TCU if we pursued.

Ahmmon Richards (4* WR) says that his dad and Coach Craig had an instant connection because he used to watch Craig when he played for Auburn. He also said his mom feels like Auburn is a place she could leave her son and not worry about him. Per Keith N. of 247 Intel suggest Miami could be our biggest threat but he's still set to visit Tenn and Bama as well as Miami.

Tashan Manning (our commit that just recently got diagnosed with cancer) will not count towards this class' numbers. Auburn is trying to get the NCAA to let him still sign a LOI though as a reward for all his work.
Manning will not be enrolling until his health issues improve. Right now he's looking at at least 3 years before he'd be able to play football again.

Tashan really seems to be having a tough go of it right now. Last I saw he was still in the hospital with pneumonia. I really hope beyond hope that he can win his battle and come to Auburn, even if he never steps foot on the field again.

Now THAT is the Brannigan I hope to hear from more often in 2016!
And yes, you can't help but want good things to happen for this young man. Seems like one of the good guys!
